It was 1974, and there was a little boy born in England. This little boy was born into a very dysfunctional family, and his father committed suicide when the little boy was seven. He didn’t know that his father had taken his own life until he was ten. Left some scars on him. His mother remarried to a very abusive step-father, who eventually ended up in prison for abusing the family. Hard life for that little boy in England. Sometime later in his youth he went to a mission meeting in England where he heard the gospel and was converted to Christ. He is a very good musician. And in wanting to celebrate what Christ had done in his life he started writing songs. And he came to Psalm 103, and he wrote a song on Psalm 103. The name of that song is “Ten Thousand Reasons,” and that little boy was Matt Redman, and “Ten Thousand Reasons” is his expression of Psalm 103.

I grew up in a christian Household im 27 but for seven years I strayed from the presence of the lord and ventured into the world ignoring everything God had to offer me. I was watching this Wednesday when I got a phone call my dad had passed. He had been a minister for over 60 years. I broke down in tears and my 22 year old son just came and held me. 3 generations. A Thomas Right on Mr. Thomas. The "Melting Pot" is a nickname for New York City, because of so many cultures and races mixed into 'one'. And where they 'drop the ball' is in Times Square (New Years Eve, on TV), where this took place. It's such an iconic place (and definitely not a place where Jesus is worshiped, generally) and to see TRUE worship taking place stirred my heart. I've been there many times, but never to see ANYTHING so profound as this!

I remember this beautiful song from when I was a child. Our church sung this often!! I remember all the older worship songs that are about God, not Man!!! True worship takes focus off self and puts all our focus on Jesus!! Worship is also how we live. We worship God in what we do for him and Others!! *JESUS is COMING SOON!* Around a year ago I was out riding my bike along a spot that I'm not too familiar with. I felt that "not home" feeling and didn't like it; I started to tell myself *"Well, Jesus is..."* and before I could finish it, my head just turns to the right and sees a big sign in the grass: *"COMING SOON!"* and quickly I burst into laughter at the timing of this. The timing was *seamless.* So I went home and called my mother on the phone and told her about it. She quickly said to me: *"That's confirmation!"* and as *soon* as she said that, the memory was brought to my conscious mind that I literally prayed only *two days before,* asking the Lord if He really told my mother: *"Soon, child, soon."*
