10 000 Shot Challenge! - How long does it take?

With the 16000 shots I was mainly trying to improve the pwer of my shot while maintaining the accuracy, im glad to say the power did improve!

Good idea with the app. I have 2 feature requests for you. 1) Track number of targets hit out of shots taken. So at the beginning you might only hit 25/100, but after 10k shots you can now hit 75/100. Each type of shot should have its own accuracy tracker. 2) Data visualization (IE charts) of shots taken over time, and accuracy over time.

This is a great idea for kids. It will make them realize the power of practice. Nobody taught me anything about hard work as a kid. I thought everyone just showed up at the same scheduled practice and talent alone made the difference. This would have changed my life.

I air out my hockey equipment in the bathroom hanging from the shower curtain with a box fan on it and the ceiling fan sucking out the smelly air all the while keeping the door closed. It dries it out and doesn't smell up the house.

It’s Kabir here, after those 16K shots my forearms look like Popeye, and I snipe pucks for everything in my day to day life. Turning off lights, opening beer cans, changing the channel on my remote, pushing elevator buttons at the mall etc. Great challenge! I recommend everyone shoot daily.

What distance do you practice shooting from? How far is a good distance?

It's best to vary your distance so you learn how to be accurate from anywhere. Your shooting style will change depending on where you shoot from so try practicing from a bunch of different distances if you can.

@@howtohockeytraining I've recorded myself shooting a couple of times, seem to have good power, but I noticed I dont extend my top hand. Really trying to correct to get good muscle memory. Dont want to form bad habit.

Why not hang some type of netting to either stop the pucks hitting the ceiling... Or put some wire mesh across. Either way will stop the pucks from doing as much damage. Also... Check out the index finger hole in Jeremy's glove 🤣 Why not shoot without gloves... Or get a hookup to get some new gloves
