I drive mine 18,000 km so far with no issues and ive been dune bashing with the grenadier on a daily basis. Love the car one of the best car choices i made ❤

As a UK owner of a 2 seat IG van for 17 months, think your about right. Software switches you need to reset and learn. But it's the most capable standard truck you can probably buy. I use mine for work as a fencing and forestry contractor. It's better than my old defender 130. Apparently they are thinking of producing the Quartermaster on factory portals and there would be room for an under slung tank. It's good to see you looking at different vehicles, keeps the channel fresh.

Best view of the Grenny so far. I’m up to 48,000km in mine now. I pretty much agree with your findings. I love mine and wouldn’t swap it for anything, except maybe the Quartermaster although I think the rear legroom in the QM is not quite as good as the waggon, and I have almost 3 teenagers. My only gripes are the lack of a workshop manual which was promised at launch. Come on INEOS, it’s been 2 years now! The lack of a fault code reader that can clear codes and reset service intervals is also a gripe. I guess this will come, the demand is there! I recently serviced mine myself and had to go back to the dealer anyway to get the service interval reset.. not good. Overall I’m delighted with is though.

I have driven my 2 seater for 19,000km now. That was a fair and balanced review of the Grenadier. BTW INEOS ANZ is in the process of building up a Grenadier cab chassis show car with all the fruit from Australian accessory makers like JMAX, Redarc, Norweld, Brown Davis, etc. Others have also come on board like KAON, Euroflo, etc.

Can’t get the diesel here in the US and I’m not fond of BMWs gas motor reliability these days. Glad you got to use it. Cheers.

I feel like I live a sheltered life, as I finally saw one on the road the other day! 🤣 I was impressed with it... looked great, sounded great... definitely would want one! 😂 Thanks Ronny!

Ronny! Thanks for another great vid. I know you can’t help me here but I’m sure others may offer opinions haha. I’m stuck deciding between a used G wagon (2015-17, depending on trim & km) or a Grenny in magic mushroom! Light off roading, not a daily, hauling dogs, trails, will tow, looking for character & fun. Ideally holding on to it for some time. Help! 😂

Not sure how many are on the road, but have observed two on the back of a tilt tray here in the Pilbara.

Thanks for a great and honest review. The headthing is always a big problem, also I think that Ineos did a great job for a brand new on the market car and shouldn’t get stuck of some of its problems that have to be sold. Give it a chance and honestly, how many new honest off-roaders are built today?

I test drove one in London today. It was beautiful, I sat very high up, it was very comfortable and it felt like I imagine what driving a tank would feel. Two insurmountable obstacles for my were 1. The awful turning circle - surely this could be made tighter. 2. No satnav - what? With constantly changing road conditions all over the uk we need information on alternative routes all the time. And finally, there are some changes to the taxation of Chelsea tractors which are going to add many thousands of pounds to the cost of these beautiful vehicles. I loved the look, I loved the drive but those two problems made purchase impossible.
@tomdixon795559 минут бұрын
Apple car play is better than any satnav I have used. It’s always up to date and traffic data is live. Plus you can use any phone mapping app like Gaia gps. It works well.
@6226superhurricane14 минут бұрын
you don't want sat nav built into your vehicle by the manufacturer. they rarely get updates and are obsolete quickly. far better off having an aftermarket stand alone one that's better from the start.

Isn’t that the reason why you sold the LC79… to replace it with an Ineos Granadier ute version 😂 thanks Ron, great series mate!!

Ronny you have justice to the Ineos Grenadier. Thank you for this series

Mihe had the ABS ring failed at 18k. After 2 months at the dealership, they managed to fix it without replacing the whole car.

My main problem I can’t get diffs on tap when I need them most always holding up people trying to them in engaged. It’s going back Friday as there is a loud clunking noise when going over speed bumps and also slowing down etc.
@pauldavies46502 сағат бұрын
@aggitravel i'd bet odds on the clunking is your steering damper and arm. Grab the connecting bolt in the middle, pull it forward hard, it rotates and clunck/rings, now push it back hard, it again rotates and clunks/rings
@RogerCampilloСағат бұрын
@@aggitravelcheck out the steering shock absorber’s cover. If it’s loose, just wrap a piece of these u shape rubbers with metallic inner insert (you know the ones used to cover the edges of the bumpers or the chopped fenders) around the edge of the cover. Cheap and effective solution.

What does the 76 series weigh when you add a steel bar, winch, sliders, snorkel, front and rear skid plates and aux battery?

Ronny How much is the exact fuel tank? How many kilometers does it travel? Have you tried a gasoline or diesel engine? How high is the ground clearance? Has the suspension been modified or is it factory-made? Please reply

Impressive and informative videos. Appreciate it. Thanks. Wondered about the after sales service though eg parts and aftermarket since it is unique production vehicle, unlike Toyota that have parts and aftermarket everywhere

The new Prado is about the same at 2.5 - 2.60 tons. They're only going to get heavier when they all have large batteries
@RogerCampilloСағат бұрын
Not only large batteries. All the “safety tech” that are mandatory are adding more and more weight also. In the case of the grenadier, the frame is just too massive (you would not believe how think the walls and the cross members are) also the axles are pretty heavy but also duty
