Hey Nancy, I have a tip for you when crocheting or knitting with 2 strands of yarn to keep them from getting tangled. Get you a large button that has either 2 or 4 holes (where you sew buttons on) that are big enough to thread yarn through. Thread your yarn, one strand in each hole, through button hole with a tapestry needle. Then just attach your 2 strands of yarn on your hook or needles like you always do. The yarn feeding through the button holes keeps it from tangling up. And you can still use the yarn spools you're using. Someone told me this trick many years ago when I was knitting with 2 strands of yarn. You couldn't use a button with the project you're working on now, but next time you start a project from scratch, try using a button and see if it keeps from getting tangled. Just remember to thread one strand in one button hole, and the 2nd strand in the other button hole! That blanket you're working on is so pretty!!! Yes, the hurricane did catastrophic damage all the way into northeast Tennessee and southwest Virginia. Parts of I-40 and I-26 were washed away. I pray the storm in the gulf right now fizzles out and doesn't hit anywhere on the gulf coast.🙏
