How good is duck canvas for abrasion resistance?
@Bigduckcanvas6 жыл бұрын
The "numbered" duck canvases are very abrasion resistant. In fact, #10 Duck (15 oz) is used as an abradant when testing other fabrics for abrasion resistance. (If a material is more abrasion resistant than the #10 canvas, they use wire mesh!) We have a good selection of #10 duck canvas in both unfinished (natural) and many dyed colors, in widths from 36" to 120" at www.bigduckcanvas.com/categories/number10-15oz-cotton-duck-canvas.html. Feel free to reach out to one of our canvas experts at 1-800-704-6138 -- they'll be glad to help. And thanks for your question!

I bought a kodiak canvas tent that is supposed to have the top made out of 10 oz duck canvas and the sides are supposed to be 8.5 oz. They look nothing like this. It looks like the thickness of a tee shirt.
