I know that you have certain talk within the Vang Clan but think about Vietnamese or Chinese, did they celebrate their new year within many subgroups? why one clan, why not 18 clans at the same time? when we can do it, we will be only one Hmong, not many Hmong Group.

I understand your perspective, but keep in mind that our communities are changing. Every clans are doing it. We are doing it for the better, not the worst. Each clan celebrates their own pre-new year and the 18 clans do it together in another time. So, that's acceptable. Happy new year to you and smile more often.
