Brodie, those 5 units are veterans ones. But why are they covered?
@TrainManBrodie3 жыл бұрын
They were covered to be protected and hidden until delivered to Canadian Pacific for a special reveal.

I thought that might have been you out there by my house filming (coal train on county line rd, second house from the tracks) I would have stopped and said hello but I was running behind getting ready to go to work (otr truck driver, former RR employee and long time railfan/model railroader). Great videos btw.

I shot that same coal load on the Ottumwa sub Saturday, was wondering if it would go south. Any idea where it was heading, it didn't look like the usual TVA trains?

Does anybody know what those CP units are painted for?
@bkriegel955 жыл бұрын
I was thinking that they were going to be Heritage schemes at first. But by looking at the paint on the fuel tanks, none of the paint schemes of CP's predecessors match up with these. My guess is that they are special interest units kind of like NS 911, CSX 911, NS 6920, CSX 1776, CSX 3194 etc etc etc.

They were unveiled in Ogden today as memorial units. Two Army, one Navy, and one/two Air Force. (6644 is painted up as a D-Day fighter.)
