Options if you owe debt you can’t afford to pay. How seniors can maintain their financial independence. Topics discussed include why and how seniors income is protected. What happens if sued? Do the protections include Credit Unions? ( moneys in accounts)

Yes it does include credit unions, but it can be a problem if you owe a debt to the credit union and you're not paying them. Because it's a membership they have a right to take money from your accounts to pay off your debt with them. They would also enter membership if you were in arrears.
