Holidays do tend to be slow but they always want to clean out some part of the yard. There was just an article from Railway Age that last year the average UP Freight on the main line increased from 1.6 me to 1.8 and that first train you had is probably well over 2 and especially with only two units Always love to see the Auto Parts hi-cube box cars something we don't get to Milwaukee anymore. Glad you didn't run out of patience or that the battery would go dead photographing something that immense. I still have a hard time seeing the IC as just a single track at that location

How often do UP use the north/south track Josh? I always think of it as "the CN track" and can't remember another UP on it in your videos. I got a surprise when I saw it rolling towards you. 👍👍

Hey Pete so glad you asked! We get about 75% of UP on the CSX Line going East and West, now UP also has trackage rights with CN as they have a line South too, so it varies but you can get up to 3-5 UP on this line sometimes in a 24 hour period, but CN def rules the lines here on the old Illinois Central Line!
