That Fast and Furious one is the dumbest contract ever. It means there’s no stakes in the story and we can expect nothing interesting from a fight in these movies
@thomasrider82214 жыл бұрын
Perhaps that's why it works. While each actor doesn't want to lose his character's macho status, it ensures that no satisfactory outcome can result from violence. It also ensures plenty of sequels. Imagine what the franchise could do if they had an I.Q. clause, where no Alpha male could be smarter than the other.

They made it very clear it was a different thing entirely from the Brendan Fraser films (which I still enjoy to this day). @@mjagger916 In the grand scheme of things, an actor is just that. I personally believe they are overpaid to play at what most do for real and are underpaid. However, when there is a $200,000,000 budget at stake riding on your shoulders, your reputation, and future career, you are obligated to give your investors the best representation for their money and for them to see a return. The Director of photography Shane Hurlbut made the mistake of walking into Bale's eyeline. He did not walk in the peripherals, or remain stationary while the entire primary filming unit was operation, but walked through the eyeline of the central actor to look at a lighting fixture. Any Director of Photography knows that this is an egregious error, and he knew better to jeopardize throwing an actors performance on a film in which hundreds of thousands of dollars are pouring out of the doors every day. A lighting fixture isn't something which couldn't wait until the scene was cut. Did he warrant a blasting? Absolutely. Did he deserve the level of grilling? Norton did nothing wrong in The Incredible Hulk. And the movie and its Hulk are far better than what we have now.

@@randallcobb6406 i loved the first 2 Hellboy movies, but i have to put Shazam slightly higher than the reboot. even though it was a little cheesy

How does Johnny depp make this list? He nailed the character and arguably made the film!

this is what pissed me off about the christian bale terminator tirade. he had no right to rampage at the crew member. theyre both merely employees of the film studio. thats no different than 2 equally ranked shop workers yelling at each other. if you have a problem you get a manager which in his case would be a producer or someone higher. bale wasted just as much, if not more, time by stopping production instead of doing his own work.

Fun fact: Terminator 3 and Terminator Genesis have the exact same rating on Imdb. I prefer Genesis tbh. Not sure why that film gets bagged on so much 🤔

Honestly, if you can bend Brett Ratner to your knee and make him direct your own script, I don't mind seeing what Ed Norton does.
