For your 1st entry 1st and overlooked addon that does this is hiding bar which is sub set addon of one most used addons (cant recall sadly) or just use leatrixplus function from enchanced minimap which does same hide/consolide addons

For hunters.... the addon Tamed is the first addon you need to DL. It's the ingame hunter's bible to go alongside the online bible... Petopia. And for hardcore. MobInfo helps your decision making process.

I really liked the Cancelling tab in Auctionator. Makes it sooo much easier and hella faster to cancel all of your auctions so you don't have to click each auction. Why doesn't Auctioneer have this, lol?

What I wonder is what are you using for your bars? I use Bartender and trying to make it look like that is impossible since it removes all of the blizzard artwork.. Tried to see if its a setting in the game itself and couldn't find it.

quite the opposite... WoW UI was shit even when it released... other MMOs had proper UI modifications on the user-end baked in from the get go. Warhammer Online had great UI. The free reign of addons in wow, in part, totally shifted the game design. WoW has really shit readibility of bosses because everyone uses addons anyway - therefore you are reading UI, not what boss does or says... Other MMOs may not have quantity of bosses the WoW has, but damn, they are waaaaaay more interactive with waaay higher skill ceiling across the board. Even SWTOR just like Deathelement53 said, SWTOR raids are few, but they are reaaaaaaaaaally well done with great readibility. Going in first time on Master mode or Nightmare without mods (as swtor does not have any addons other than unofficialy supported dps meter) and figuring the bosses out without any addons - that is how it should be done, even if you read/watched guides - you gotta execute the play as well as there is nothing else to do it for ya.

Bulletin Board is a feature every game should have. It never makes sense to me when I don't see that feature in an MMO. I am glad that addon exists just so devs realize it's impact. Of course Blizzard would add it to their game, they understand the genre.

Do quests and level in zones where those quests are at or below your level. Don't be afraid to travel to a new zone that's the same level. Google zone levels and leveling guides. You don't need to pay for a damn addon.

Questie is not necessary. Three adding you will need is, discord, GTFO and some sort of aggro meter. These are essential especially in raids.

Whats the point of Minimapbutton when leatrix plus already has that feature. Also again Sexymap is pretty useless with leatrix plus :D Bulletinboard also useless with the new integrated LFG tool. The rest are OK. I wouls add Baganator the best bag addon (for me), blizzmove so you can move stuff on the screen (cant live without this). Handynotes with NPC/travelguide. Whats training is also essential. I use few more but these are important.

Well the lfg that's built in is nice but for people using the LFG channel that's built into wow it's ridiculous to try and follow everything being posted which is why people use the lfg add on as well because it scans the lfg channel so you don't have to

Some of those are nice. I highly recommend people do NOT use details outside of raids. It creates an artificial leaderboard and degenrates the game into who can get the high score instead of playing the game. Tiny Threat is the only one that is actually useful in combat and it becomes a crutch for people not paying attention.

I'm passing on Classic Classic. Still having fun on SoD and no time to run a couple versions of wow at once. I'll play classic classic minus vicariously via my usual wow streamers while gaming in SoD. Best of both worlds and a time saver. And I still get to play melee hunter spec for all it's worth before season's end.

@@Holylightt99 Retailers have a similar opinion of classic as a whole. SoDcore is a niche group of Classic Plus gamers. Similar to the niches, retail mythics, classic hardcore and no changes Classic. It's all pov who likes and hates what. The Sodcore are the Classic changes changes and more changes thanks . While WoW as whole prefer the status quo.

The minimap one button is the bane of new hardcore players. They keep placing it where it's overlay is covering vital info before their deaths. Minimap goes bottom left on gui and the minimap botton in the minimaps top right corner. That way the overlay for the button only covers the minimap if left open. Leaving debuffs and whatnot in full view at all times.
