10 Advanced Rengoku Combos For High Level Matches - Demon Slayer Hinokami Chronicles

Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Hinokami Chronicles. Advanced combos for Rengoku mains. Rengoku is a very high damage character. I saved his combo video for last because to be honest I didn't even know if I was going to do one for him. When the game came out there were so many people online spamming with him that it made me dislike the character. Every time I saw him on someones team in the loading screen before a match I knew what kind of fight I was fixing to have. He does so much damage that everyone would just mash the same button over and over so all there combos looked exactly the same every game. It made me think the character had nothing to him but damage and one combo that everyone does over and over. I really like Rengoku in the anime and manga but on the game I couldn't stand him and I never touched the character. I used him one time for a ToD video for Nezuko and that was the first time I had ever played him. After making this video though and seeing what he can do I actually like him now. He is one of the only ones who has specials that change depending on whether he is on the ground or in the air. His flame tiger changes and you can actually connect a grab off the one in the air and it makes your opponent crumple so you can set up just about any combo. All of his combos hit hard regardless for how you start them and his ultimate and surge animations look amazing. I’m glad I did the video because it changed my opinion on the character. From now on when I see anyone playing him so brain dead or spamming in matches I know that it’s because they are just not that good and that it’s not the character it’s the player

Awesome glad to hear it and I hope you stick around the channel. To do the air dash like that just jump cancel after the last hit in a light combo then tilt the stick in the direction you want to land and press the dash button. There are two ways you can do it too. You can dash back after the air dash or you can use your light attack mid air to keep the combo going. Yo no problem brother glad it helped you out some and yea he is still a pretty good character. Rengoku and Hinokami Tanjiro do more damage then any of the other characters still so if you get a good combo or two you are used to doing in matches you will be hard to beat

How do you do the air combo one? When he does normal combo then cancels into an air dash?

Jump cancel with a air dash after your light combo then you can choose which side to air dash but as soon as you get close with the air dash hit him with your air light attacks then into your tilt skill then regular special (flame tiger) into ultimate

Yea it just got ported to the switch not long ago so it can be played on pretty much any platform now. The story is pretty good in the game and the online is still jumping so it’s up to you brother

You just boost or surge and at the end of your light combo there will be a extra hit that works like a grab but it can be blocked. If you connect with that final hit it will grab them and start the cutscene

Thanks man! learn lots from this. Just one thing, i can't for some reason connect the grab combo. I do it exactly as you do up until the part with the jump dash cancel, and it just flops cause the enemy character just bounces off instead of the falling animation they do after a falling flame tiger so i can get the grab off of it.😕

Awesome I’m glad you enjoyed the video and hopefully you got a new combo or two for your matches. If you’re having trouble with that one it’s probably because of the assist. You need a assist like Zenitsu to hold your opponent on the ground for your air flame tiger so it doesn’t bounce him upwards. It’s hard to time but once you get it the first time it’s pretty easy to do consecutively

You’re probably doing it on a character with more defense then Akaza or Hino Tanjiro. Use it on one of them and it will work fine bro. It works on any character with low defense

I did for the ToD but my combos aren’t for damage. They are to show which attacks connects together and are meant to help you make your own by showing new routes that you can take. So the damage they do doesn’t matter it’s just to show what the characters can do and how they are different then the others. I always do my combo videos with Rengoku as the test dummy but since this was his video I put Akaza so Rengoku could beat up on him for a change. I don’t care about there defense or how much damage they take or any of that really it’s just to show the combos and to help people see new things they can do with there mains

Demon Slayer is on pretty much every console now so you can play it on just about anything. Just search it in the store of whatever console you have and you can buy it easy
