I remember going to the All Out 2022 Pre-Party. Max Caster did an intimate performance for the attendees and really created the vibe that their time was coming. Support from the fans was certainly increasing and it was only a few hours later that the crowd would create “Oh scissor me daddy” chants as a rib on Keith Lee and the rest was history. The Grand Slam title win really gave us that fulfillment that we sought after that day

In my opinion jeff jarrett run in aew has helped revitalize his career in a lot of fans eyes since he was always known as the wrestler who stormed vince’s office at wwe no mercy 1999 ppv and held him hostage until vince give him money he was owed to drop the wwe intercontinental championship to chyna, his reign of terror run as the nwa world champion from 2004-2006 in TNA, and him being a multiple time wcw world champion even though fans thought he was not a main event level wrestler, him starting a promotion called GFW which failed miserably and that infamous GFW gold scam he did.

I'll give you your #1. However, the fact that Sting +/or Darby Allin aren't on this list proper is shameful. Sting had retired, thinking his injury from THAT NoC match would prevent him from ever setting foot in a ring to compete again. Now look at him. Jumping off stuff no person of his (or any) reasonable person has any business doing. Still cranking out tag team bangers. Showing his wackier side with his work with Orange Cassidy and MJF (POMPOMS). He gets it. And this isn't a Hogan looking for gold too late in his day. He's happy to help younger students of the game find their way. And speaking of younger wrestlers, Darby Allin is a success story vinny mac would never let happen. The fellow daredevil facepainted warrior is a smaller competitor who nearly kills himself in every match.

I’m biased towards Eddie Kingston, 2Point0 and Orange Cassidy because I used to watch them in Chikara 14 or so years ago. They were awesome then, so it’s no surprise they eventually got over in AEW. And what guys like that (and Dark Order) show is that not every wrestler has to fit into the same mold that guys like Jim Cornette and Vince McMahon demand of a “wrestler.” It’s entertainment, so all sorts of styles and characters can have a place.
