(Love the telephone bit, though, but the full version shows how well he blends it into the intro to Wasted Years). Bruce is the best showman I've ever seen on stage, bar none.

Honeslty Mercury isn't all that impressive. He had a very thin voice and didn't have great control over it, hence why most of his live performances are pretty damn sloppy. He did have above average range but it certainly is not nearly as impressive as giants like Bruce, Halford, Tate, etc. Honestly, this notion that he's some kind of vocal god is just a myth.

I got tired of his voice in the early days yet still bought his solo stuff cause he's a complete inspiration. Concerning cancer, it's said that there's always fungus in a tumor and that it's the cause. Salts have a glowing success rate depending on how easy it is to reach and as it's his tongue it's worth mentioning. I'm talking about simple bicarbonate of soda too, look it up.
