My parents had a narrowboat in the 70s - 90s and I spent many an enjoyable holiday aboard. I now live in Central Thailand and get much comfort from viewing these videos. Awesome boat! The planning and execution took time and adjusting on the fly(covid), and the result is amazing. The drapes and bed layout is my favorite, really like the way the drapes and king size bed work and give it a big open feeling on a narrow boat. Great job! Even though narrow boating is not my thing (I am not aptly sized for anything narrow lol), I love seeing the layout and organisation. Having built the boat to you7r spec means it's exactly what works for you and you can see that in the amazingly well thought out design. Some folks might want more "saloon" space, but this is what works for you. Thanks for the in depth tour - that is exactly what my curiosity wanted :)

Being in America we had a sailboat 35” for about 12 years, it had a diesel engine, two state rooms and the dining table dropped down like yours , being a sailboat it was in the bay and out in the ocean also , but your boat is amazing! Well done and designed, how do you find getting in and out of the bed? We want to change our layout to a crossover and it’s the one thing which concerns me (although it’s a similar issue when one of us is against the wall) also, we are both 5’8”, not tall whatsoever, how do you find it compared to a domestic length mattress? Thanks for watching. Rob is just over 5ft 8” which is fine, feet just touch wall when completely outstretched but depends on gunnels. So would depend how you sleep. We haven’t had any issues. Getting in and out is fine too. We are really pleased with it and one of the best decisions we made 👍🏼

We have a king size cross bed too, and it was one of our best decisions! As long as neither of you are over about 5’10 then it’s the way to go for sure 😊

Wow! That is a stunning narrow boat! The kitchen 😱😱😱😱 The storage is amazing! I’m a big believer to kitchen storage. And a washer dryer……..SO important! Being able to have the food out be able to fix a plate, and then sitting down. The dinette is perfect of a visiting couple. The drapery fabric is soft and lovely, love the top and bottom. Just saw T&R from Texas, Alabama and Indiana USA - our first episode with you - and really loved your NB. Even the wife loved it and that is something, so I guess attention to details is the key. Key elements we liked were the radiators, small but active fireplace and the dual eyelet curtains. The galley was great too but a microwave is a must for us Yanks. Since we are sail boaters and have a RV we are used to single berths and like them; therefore, we would opt for double offset berths so we can both get to the head at night. We are now Subscribers and thank you for inviting us in to your life. Cheers from all the places we have been on the planet., Cheers.

Only suggestion I would have is an exhaust hood above the cook top. Venting moisture and grease out makes quite a difference in your quality of life, much more than you would think.

Narrow boat living is intriguing. The closest we’d get to that in the U.S. would be a houseboat, which doesn’t resemble the narrow boats, both good, just different.
