Yes please! My hack is using baking paper or parchment paper under sketchbook pages to prevent bleeding, seeping or accidentally glueing pages together! I also swatch gel pens (and metallic mediums) on both white and black paper :)

I always use lids for my paint pallette. It's great because you don't have to clean and paper soaks up the paint. At my school they use scrap paper to put the paint on, but I really hate it when the paint I want to use just soaks up into the paper.

I use hack number 2 too! Using markers as a base is a really good way to block out your colours! An art hack I use is for the tape I use for taping down watercolor paper, I attach the tape to my clothing first, then peel it off. This will make the tape easier to peel off and it's less likely to rip the paper.

I've actually been using that grid app method long before i even discovered your channel (which was last year) and i can't believe a youtuber who gives me so many ideas and hacks actually uses the same method i do. I always have trouble getting the eyes to be in line with each other and being the same size and shape and i found drawing it with a grid really helped. I still have trouble with the shape sometimes but it still takes much less time to get it right since i know exactly where the different parts should be.

Chuck Close I believe made the grid method popular, I was taught this method in middle school, now I'm in university and STILL. use this method. My professors actually encourage using it because it helps with proportions. When I was visiting another figure drawing class, the dude teaching actually passed out grids made from plastic and used sharpies to draw lines so when you look at the live model, you can get the foreshortening right. Which anyone who's done art for a while, KNOWS foreshortening is a nightmare in itself. But a tip I use is to do practice using live models if you can, sure it's weird drawing naked people, but it's been helping to explore the human body
