Frontier could develop some updates focused on this. I've been saying that a checkered grid would be perfect for placing decorations and buildings around the map with greater precision. But something else came to my mind: for some of the decorations, like the planters, they could have a configuration similar to the fences, where you can stretch and make them curves at will. Another interesting thing would be a "Stick to Path" setting, where decorations would be a short but constant distance from paths. And putting these two new configurations together, we could make circles with the decorations around the paths, without having to place them one by one.

i agree. one of the main reasons i don’t add much decoration is because they’re hard to place correcting

All of them honestly. On a side note, I have a Jurassic Park San Diego build I’m working on. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m very proud of it, so that’s why I tried my hardest to make it, in your words, “not boring”. I feel like I could do more to make it better.

I never heard of this game until a week ago, I’m extremely impressed by what people are able to create with the basic tools available in the game. I recently started a new map and I’m focusing all of my attention on building the guest area so it’s aesthetically pleasing and flows well. I’ll figure out the Dinos later.

for some reason; I find annoying that some arrival points come from nowhere, as a subway station, or dont reflect the capacity of the park with that little helipad; That's why i sometimes use your path tricks to create simple airfield strip with "hangar-like" buildings and container props... works great as a "utility vehicle lobby" as well as a chance to link a remote or awkward portion of the map with the main section with a nice walkway for the guests to arrive to a larger plaza

Whenever I build high security facilities (or generally high security parks) on a mainland map, not Nublar or Sorna, I build a security section with an airfield, a taxiway, and I use the DFW response facilities as hangars so it would look like if a dinosaur escaped, recon/scouting aircraft could find it before it got to any suburban or urban areas. I can use the Viewing Towers as Air Traffic Control towers too.

Would guets won't go in paths that have decortions on both sides? I made aa huge park reserve with decorations on both sides of the long paths. Opened the park, nothing, they won't even go EVEN with plenty of stuff. Is it because of the decortions?
