sol guilded arrow is pretty nuts. once you kill the marked minion it gives 20% attack speed plus sols passive just got buffed and gives her 30% attack speed so you have crazy attack speed very early into the game. plus sols passive just works well with the flat basic attack damage items in general. combine that with warflag on your support and youll have 70% attack speed buff at level 1 (plus purple so 80%)

Bumbha's Hammer on Guan Yu is gonna be so sick. The basic attack resets with Hydra's Lament and insane cooldown reductions is gonna be so lit.

Yea i only saw it twice myself but the person basically carried the game unless we had at least 4 people focusing her. Which isnt really possible unless they are alone, she did enough damage to be a threat as well. Very strong combination and it allows her to bully in lane a bit too.

I think the sustain is the issue with it, if I could go against it again I would try countering with tainted steel to see if that helps at all.

@@bonnie9532 I agree because your sacrificing alot of damage/ better stats by going that item, but I got anti heal items to try and counter the bloodsoaked shroud artio and it barely touched her, even with my team also going some as well. The upgraded tainted steel has surprisingly good stats and loads of antiheal and mixed with some damage could be the answer. Im just brainstroming to try to find a counter, other than being forced to focus a solo artio in a team fight to win it lol

I think Leader's Cowl will do good on Ama at high level but at lower level play you can't ensure the right sort of objective play to make use of it. The other version might be good though, it's basically an amplification of her existing auras.

Animosity on Ymir is the wave. You got Animosity’s bonus damage, Polynomicon’s bonus damage, and the bonus damage from Ymir’s passive, all on Ymir’s autos. The best part about this build is that you can just build standard support and Poly for the last item/sell boots for Poly. Ymir will be able to punish any god who dares dive the back line on his own

Nope, they took out ALL effects from proccing on his basics, previously blessings were allowed to to help him build them, but it breaks it now with these new starters.

Alright now hear me out, but I was imagining possible god/starter combos and for some reason I envisioned Hades Jungle with any of the new jungle items (but I had Manikin Hidden Blade and Protector of the Jungle in mind). I might be crazy, but that doesn't mean I won't try it

Not too crazy. Anyone can jungle this season. Jungle monsters got nerfed, the starter items are crazy and if you start the jungle with your solo, clearing all camps from yellow to blue (while mage clears red alone) you and your solo reach the solo lane at lvl 2 on the 45 second mark.

Ares Sentinel Embrace is even worse. If you have Sentinel Embrace(gives 20 of both prots at minimum) Thebes(gives 10 of both prots) Sovereignty (gives 15 phys) Heatward(20 mag) Bolster Defenses(40 at max) You get: 85 phys prot aura 90 mag prot aura That’s fucked Edit: And mind you, you won’t have all five teammates hugging you so that means you will probably give more prots to the people you are with.

Allowing these starters to give us a bigger lead will allow the players to have a firmer grasp on the W they deserve for gaining a lead in the first place.

You can for sure. The only issue is that if you dont get super far ahead from it, the other support will be ahead just off the back of his starter. I think it will be interesting in a double jungle/invading playstyle though.

As far as I know, the bigger shield will override the other shield so only one will apply instead of both stacking.

I don’t think the Geb solo deserves a mention tbh, it’s way too niche and I don’t think anyone will pull this off in any game without literally forfeiting lane and praying the opposition allows you to sit in a 45-50 minute game. The meta is leaning towards an Early snowball meta with all the accessible farm and the item spikes (specifically the need to hit 20 ASAP) If you play Geb solo unless your jungle literally babies your lane for the first 12 minutes, you will lose Every Ku, lose the scorpion, and most likely every blue after your second. By the time you reach 20 the game will likely be over. The rest are at least viable, I’m assuming you tried to do one god for each starter. I would have said Bumbas and Yemoja but that has since been made impossible lol.

I’d also recommend doing a Item + starter item combo vid. I’m interested to see your thoughts on the synergy amongst the items . Obvious ones I think would be Sentinel’s +Thebes and Crusher + Bluestone (although I kinda prefer Joutan’s over Crusher)

I agree. I think the best solo laners will be either any warrior that can abuse bluestone or manakin and snowball or assassins that can snowball the lane. Most games ended on the pts before you upgraded starters or got the last item.

Personally, I think Jormungandr Solo is a better user of the Death's Embrace, just because how ridiculous it interacts with its basic attacks, but it probably won't be that important in the meta, just an hilarious build to try. Other than that the video's awesome, and Nu wa's scaring me now.
