Gboard is is definitely better for me. You can also long press the top button and say "set at timer for 5 minutes" also better than the timer complication in my opinion.

I would argue that setting display to grayscale only increases the battery consumption, because for white light all the pixels in the area must be on, while for a specific color only pixels producing that color are on. A more realistic use case for grayscale is maybe better contrast in certain situations.

Not all features will work... There are a few that are specific to samsung. Most earphones will connect to the watch directly. As long as they are recent. You can pick up calls on earbuds connected to watch if you're watch is LTE. Else, you'll need a phone to receive calls in the first place and if you have a phone, then why connect buds to the watch. I've talked about the battery life in the video.

AW7 would be better but would cost a lot more than GW4. WearOS still cannot compete with AW OS. If you use Telegram then you will be dissappointed that Telegram has dropped support for WearOS for now.

@@DarrylBass I have not used any watch OS. My comments are based on my research over the years. I have pre-ordered GW4 only because of WearOS 3 because it allows manufacturers to add in their modifications over the base OS. Samsung has the most experience with creating smart watches among all android device manufacturers and I don't like the closed ecosystem of apple devices so GW4 was an obvious choice. Apple has better apps, better dev support on all their OS platforms. Apple Watch OS is also more mature. Choice is very simple - if you have an iPhone then go for Apple Watch else for now GW4 is best. I haven't heard of overheating on an apple watch but their are already complaints about overheating on LTE GW4. This should give you an idea about the product maturity and stability.

How many devs have you interviewed before you came to this conclusion? There are literally thousands, tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of developers so there is NO WAY you can claim iOS developers offer better support than Android developers--many of whom are the same persons. You claim watch OS is more mature, explain to me how? Give me specific examples

If you track walking (not auto) it should show a map of where you've been in the Samsung health app, go to exercise history and click the desired walking exercise and the map will be there.

I have the Galaxy Watch Active 2 right now and I'm somewhat interested in this watch. Is this worth the upgrade? I'm in Ireland we don't have SamungPay or GPay for smartwatch just yet but hoping it comes soon. GPay, according to some users was reactivated for a short amount of time here so I'm guessing it's arriving soon. Does this watch support GooglePay? I would like to use either GPay or SamsungPay as I'm not sure which will come first. I use my current watch on a daily basis from around 10am to wear it all night long to track sleep. I would like more of an accurate sleep tracking. Throughout the day, I let it track my steps and my heart rate automatically as I work in hospitality. Please let me know if this is worth it or should I wait or if I should look into another smartwatch which will get the new OS. I have a Samsung phone if that helps since I think samsung devices work well together.

If you're happy with your watch, there's no need to upgrade because the watch 2 is tracking your sleep, steps and heart rate already. If and when payment apps are available in your country, that's when you can think of getting the watch 4. But think hard, just because you want the fun of paying through a watch, would it be worth spending all that money? If you've got loads of it, go for it 😄

The most awesome thing about it is the activation process. It will give you pain in the ass if you use other non-samsung android phone. Almost impossible to activate it and about to return it. They should have an option that users could activate it using PC/MAC.
