@@MikeT-TheRetiredColonel Do you always dehumanize your fellow countrymen? It's true - crime is a problem but it is not just lowly citizens who are at fault. In fact the most egregious crimes are committed by government itself. Now you and I likely define a crime differently. You would claim a written statute defines a crime. However, I define a crime as anything which is morally corrupt or of evil intent and which causes harm or deprivation to others thus creating one or more innocent victims. For instance - the government has allowed investment firms chiefly owned by China to buy over 90% of the homes in our country - for the sole purpose of renting them back to our population for profit. The deprivation of domicile through legislation favoring rich over poor is a crime in my eyes. Profiting from real estate sale taxes and property taxes in a homeland sellout scheme to foreign nations should be a crime yah? The government has also created a system of perpetual debt slavery for many making it a pipe dream for our new generations to own a home forcing our people to pay China a tithe for the privilege of living in our own homeland. Worse - it has implemented tyrannical measures across the nation over the pandemic forcing many workers and business owners to lose their jobs and their businesses as well as being forced to sell their homes. On the back end - those who you would claim are the noble ones literally rob the rest of us at gunpoint and force without consent under threat to life, liberty and property: involuntary taxation. Don't forget inflation is a crime because they mint money in OUR name under a human trafficking bond (yeah read the fine print at the bottom of your birth certificate if you don't understand). Ultimately those who hold the most power also hold the most responsibility for what this nation has become and boy it's funny because the brainwashed masses would rather point fingers at a homeless dude stealing food, clothing or cigarettes instead of the betrayers at the very top spiriting away trillions of dollars to foreign lands. I lived in Pittsburg, CA for 20 years until fleeing CA in 2019. Believe it or not, Pittsburg is actually a nice town to live in over all. The police, however, are a little different story! The most motivated officer in the department is the code enforcement officer. There are a lot of poor people in parts of Pittsburg, and the police just love towing peoples cars because people are too broke to get the car fixed or tags renewed this month. They once did that to my neighbor, a very hard working immigrant. I, being white, came out and said that this wasn't necessary. Code enforcement lady had 3 cars worth of PDP show up. While across the street, and down a house, I yelled at an especially obnoxious bully cop. Saying he was a jerk, etc. He threatened to arrest me for obstructing an investigation; from 40 feet away! All the police in Pittsburg make between $100-$200K a year, because of over time and the power of the public employee unions in CA. None of them live in Pittsburg. They live in nearby towns with other wealthy people. Consequently, they quickly come to view the citizens of Pittsburg as a lower class of human. They don't want to get their hands dirty doing policing, but prefer to show up once things have died down. Why? How can you spend all that money if you get hurt or killed? If they do come, they will make sure whoever called for help also gets a citation of some kind so you won't call them again. If you have an Hispanic officer show up in Pittsburg, you better hope you look like them, or you will not be happy with the result. While there are surely some good cops who work there, these kinds of incidences of corruption among the Pittsburg police have a long and sordid history going back at least to the 1980's. Sad.

My uncle was a San Diego Homicide detective in early 70's and trust me, there were SDPD who did, and said, the same things back then. Stuff like this has been going on for a very long time. Check out the Zimbardo Prison Experiments. Half of the candidates were given guard uniforms which placed them in a position of power. They began to behave in ways they would not usually act in their everyday lives or other situations and began to abuse their power.

I lived in Pittsburg, CA in the 70's My husband (ex now) was a Police Reserve Officer (volunteer). There was oner district called Black Diamond that no cop wanted to go into, this included black cops. There was a "cops wives club" so I got to know some of the wives. They told me how they pranced around in their skivvies with their new badge and holstered gun. They enjoyed their power. Pollice used to be peacekeepers, now they are thugs with a badge. In 2016 I was in Medford OR getting glasses from the Lion's club. I met a man that had been beaten in Klamath Falls, OR about 120 miles away. They took him into a back room, beat him up and broke his glasses, he was in his 60's, broke and homeless, how do we fight back?

You fight back by voting as liberal as possible. It's the conservatives that still lie to themselves and their kids about what kind of people most police officers are. As civilians you see everything as you see it. You make demands that aren’t true. You see qualified immunity isn’t really a thing. There was 2 officers in the past month that were fired for shooting a man with a knife. The reason they were fired was because they shot in the direction of a male that was unarmed he was not hit but the male that was holding the knife was infront of him
