I stick with my 48inch LG OLED TV - there's nothing better than an OLED for true blacks, high contrast, vivid colors. And with 48 inch, the text, menus are all readable size for my eyes at native 4k resolution, this is the only way of having enough space for the many windows I need for creating/programming. It was a steal for about €700 I paid for it. I also have all the features of a TV with streaming, apps, and a wonderful air-mouse-type full screen remote control. so no fiddling with those annoying monitor menus when they save $0.05 on squeezing 27 submenus with157 different settings into three buttons.

@@nick066hu Oled panels have shorter/lesser lifespan. Their quality of display may degrade over time. 🕰️

Not good for working, both the size and OLED text clarity. Oled is very good for media consumption only.

@@Alan-gu1hp I have no issues with text clarity, it is crystal clear in my OLED TV. And exactly for coding I need lots of VERTICAL resolution (= more lines of code on one screen without scrolling), with 4k I have 2160 pixels and not just 1440. And viewing all this it enlarged to 48 inches of area I can see even 8-10 pt text easily with my aging eyes. On anything smaller than 40 inches it would be not possible.

In case one wants to opt for a budget 4K Monitor with specs comparable to MAC Studio with a higher refresh rate: MSI MAG 274UPF.

There are so many computer monitor makers out there. There is not a single 5K monitor made by other manufacturers that actually beats the Apple studio display. There is not even one close to it as in build quality or the screen quality. Shame on them all

@@SirZazaBey Dell U4025QW is one that is similar (in terms of cost) with Apple studio display, a 5K IPS Black (2000:1) Monitor with a Refresh rate of 120 Hz.
