Hey Jay, 2 questions. Going to start 2nd play through next day or so. With the level 20 mod, what’s the best way to get experience to that level? One of the more exp mods, or the cheat ring ( exp potions? ). 2nd, with the level 20 mod, do you continue to get feats to 20 or stop at level 12? Do you recommend or not something like the feats at every level mod, or will it cause issues going to 20? Thanks Jay!

@ Hope the playthrough went well!! For the level 20 mod personally I like using the debug book to add levels that’s way, since you don’t want to become too OP early on in the game! With a double xp mod you’ll be way too strong for some encounters. I like to get to level 12 around end of act 2 and then multiclass in act 3, but max level of 6 for act 1 is good for balance

@ you continue to get feats to level 20 but not every class has support past 12! So sometimes you need to multiclass

Thanks for including Oakhearts to your top 10, Jay. Also thanks for pointing out wolf and Shadowheart. Not only wolf, also Winter Wolf and Blink Dog turns Shadowheart hostile if they are summoned when you first wake up Shadowheart on the beach. I update mod depending on feedback from players.

I love your mod, its SO well done!! The wolf and Shadowheart is a funny interaction, but it makes so much sense in the lore of the game. I didn't realize the blink dog does the same thing, good to know! Hope you're having an awesome day

@@JasonDunna It has something to do with flags used on creatures iirc. Normal wolf ranger summon or a druid in wolf form don't get any reaction from Shadowheart.

Dread overlord has become one of my favourite mods. Combine it with a vampire origins Tav and it’s pure chaos.

Gotta go big and get deathsong fallen aasimar and the undeath mod. You end up this behemoth anti paladin of undeath. Kinda makes you feel like Thorm with everything lined up right from all the mods. And they all work together

There's two I'm desperately hoping get approved: .The WoW warlock class mod that lets you be a summoner with demons .The oath of the Eldritch hunt,because being a heavily armored bloodborne hunter is PEAK

Mystic is awesome! It is very over powered but also fun. I think you'd enjoy the elemental dusk blade, i did a build on it already and it is a blast!

@JasonDunna Hunter Ranger Halfling Tav, Storm Sorcerer Gale, Swords Bard Wyll (with 2 levels in paladin) and Light Cleric Shadowheart. I had my Tav dual wielding hand crossbows with the sharpshooter feat along with the broodmother's revenge, poisoner's gloves and derivation cloak. I also gave him phalar aluve for the shriek and a shield. I had Wyll dual wield various weapons throughout and use the caustic band and ichorous gloves Gale had the spellsparkler, psychic spark and callous glow ring. That combo plus Tav using shriek caused magic missile to melt enemies.. I also did the thing to get him the helldusk armour between acts 1 & 2 Shadowheart wore luminous armour, luminous gloves, coruscation ring and holy lance helm.

What is the coolest thing about the Dragons in BG3? It's for one time a classic European Dragon and no Wyvern! I was so dissapointed by Smaug being a Wyvern in the Hobbit Movies. Love the Dragon Tamer Class btw., I currently test it out with Lae'zel, and it's sooo good!!! Next class I test, will be the Demigod! If they will add Heir of Hermes? He is a cool and so underrated God. And Aphrodite could also be interesting - just charm everyone 😆

Honestly, Dread Overlord is worth a one level dip for any melee. One level of it will let you do the quests, and the necrotic armaments ranks up with overall level, not class level.

Thank you for the callout for Duskblade! Just a heads up, it also supports level 13-20. Also, I got rid of the NecroBlade so now it’s just ElementalBlade (OP of the two) and Dusk Blade which is much more in line with 5e.

I need to try that Wyldheart one. Looks pretty interesting. Also could you make a list of classes that are compatible with Mystra's Spells or Unlocked Level Curve? The first one os not as important but I do dislike getting blackscreened when levelling to 13 haha

Wyldheart is a ton of fun, crossing the sorcerer with the druid and adding a pet is a blast to play! I can work on a list of Mystra's spells compatible, I will need to test these all for the unlocked level curve since I don't always use it. I like sticking to level 12 for most classes but people have been asking for level 20 builds more so I will test some more!
