We have been to most of these places and travel mostly in the Spring and Fall (except for Ireland and Norway where we went in July). A week spent in Slovenia in May a few years ago was certainly a highlight of our travels. I was in Washington DC MANY years ago in April and was fortunate enough to be there when the cherry trees were in bloom and have never forgotten it!

Nice to see your suggestions for cooler weather destinations. I've been to most of the places on your list, but I went to them during their warmer times. Very timely given our Fall weather! Slovenia looks amazing and we look forward to rowing across the lake to the church. How cool to visit the coffee house where Mozart and Beethoven performed!! Nice job showing your sweater adventures during times when you don’t want to be in Mexico during July. Which we have done, but still have enjoyed. Great ideas in the video. I'm usually a summer traveler but learning to enjoy the cooler seasons also. Agree that Ljubljana is one of the best destinations ever. Used to travel there for work and got to know the country and its people. Valetta was wonderful and I hope to go back someday. Hoping to get to Norway in 2025. The list never gets shorter!

I lived in DC for over 30 years. The cherry blossoms there usually bloom sometime in late March to early April. When they bloomed in mid April, it was the latest they had bloomed in years.

Me and wife spent 5 days in Salzburg last September, more enough things to keep you busy for a week. We did rent bikes and went to Hallien for the day. It was really nice bike ride along the Salzach river. If you do go I highly recommend getting the Salzburg Pass which offer discounts to countless activities. If can coordinate your trip during St. Ruberts Festival in (usually) in mid September you will not be disappointed. Happy Travels
