10 Best Dressed from the Oscars 2024 | Bazaar UK

The Academy Awards is the biggest night on the Hollywood calendar, and always delivers some of the best red-carpet fashion of the season. This year was no exception.
We saw Carey Mulligan in archival Cristóbal Balenciaga, Lupita Nyong'o shimmering in Armani and America Ferrera embracing Barbie pink in Versace.
It was an evening filled with red-carpet drama, and a fitting end to the awards season. Above, we round up the 10 best-dressed stars at the 2024 Oscars.

My favourite was Zendaya. I also liked Ariana Grande's dress. I don't think Ariana was trying to copy anybody at all. The point of her Giambatistta Valli gown was to represent her character in Wicked and I think she looked incredible in it. And it was perfect for the Oscars.

The best dressed winner for me was Porche Brinker, the 12 year-old violin player, from the documentary 'The Last Repair Shop'. Porche graced the stage in her beautiful blue gown to accept the Oscar for Best Documentary Short. She was accompanied on the stage by co-directors Ben Proudfoot and Kris Bowers. Porche's joy and excitement, and her smile, made her shine. The beautiful dress was perfect for her.

I know Emma can look gorgeous and the design of this dress was great, but I didn't think the color complimented her at all. Needed a slightly deeper/richer shade to set off her fair skin. Instead she looks washed out. Didn't care for her hair either. Loved Lupita and Zendaya the most!
