Anyone else miss jobe Watson? Really miss having a big strong leader in the middle of the ground He was an absolute beast Real shame he will be tainted due to the ASADA bullshit .

I hated Jobe at the start due to his poor disposal but who he grew into was just incredible. A Nick Reiwoldt like gas tank that just blew guys up in the last. How many times did he get over ten possies in the last quarter. I went from yelling at him to every time he touched the ball screaming "CAPTAIN AWESOME"

@Les_Grossman8010 ай бұрын
@@SonyCamry absolutely. A game against West Coast over here ( WA ) pretty sure he got 14 plus in the last and he dragged that side to a win. I think Zac is very similar but obviously better skill wise. But I don't think ( My Opinion) he's quite hit that Jobe level. Like Hird and Voss and Selwood. Just grab the game by the plums and say "Come with me farkers"

My guess before watching: 1. James Hird 2. Matthew Lloyd 3. Jobe Watson 4. Zach Merrett 5. Dustin Fletcher 6. Michael Hurley 7. Jason Johnson 8. Scott Lucas 9. Jason Winderlich 10. Brent Stanton

Great list. Stanton worth a mention. Dishonourable mention to Matthew Knights for white anting Lloyd’s career towards the end. Flog of a coach. With that I loved Lucas’ raking left foot goals & Fletch’s barrels.
@Les_Grossman8010 ай бұрын
Disagree. Sure Stanton was loyal and had a huge gas tank but he was no better than Peverill and we now have his clone for 5 years but probably worse in Darcy Parish. Both turnover kings.

Great assessment F! We have had some real champs this century. Pity the teams as a whole haven’t risen around them. And a pity some of the comments and rhetorical questions haven't been a bit more respectful. Controversial topic where everyone may not agree, but I wish some of the trolls would give it a break!
