I think, even if this is somewhat innocuous, one of my favorite parts about the Kaiser fight is what happens when you cast Rot on him. It confirms D'arce's ending from the first game as canon and was a pretty big hit when I first saw it in game personally. (Also, during the Logic fight when the Ma'habre leitmotif plays. The chills bro)

Maybe so, but in the ending where you bow to the yellow king, it states that his skin is turning green. Maybe his skin is rotting away? Either or both could be true

It seems like the asterisks Le’Garde uses in his fights are a reference to the Yellow Sign, the symbol of the King in Yellow in Robert W. Chambers’s book of the same name

Why aren't Sylvian and Grogoroth on your list? They're the two best designed and most intimidating bosses, imo. I would have chosen them over Kaiser and Francois. I like the design of some of the end bosses for Termina, but like Francois in Funger, they're all surprisingly easy to cheese, whereas Sylvian and Grogoroth are hell to fight. When the update for Termina is released, it'd be cool if the end bosses are rebalanced.
