A super car is classified to a hyper by having over 1000 up and being able to reach 200 mph, hence why the veyron needed the term, a mega car would most likely need to reach over 300 with at least 2000-2500 hp

Mega cars was named after the koenigsegg one-1..wich have 1360kg and 1360hp wich equevalent to 1 maga watt thats why Mr.CVK called it a mega car..do definitely koenigsegg was the first mega car

First off, super cars are around porsche 911s and lambo huracans....they reach 200mph. Exotics have alot of horses but barely breach the 1000hp gap. Cars usually hit behind 220mph. Hyper cars dont necessarily have to have 1000hp but are capable of extreme speed and top end pushing beyond 220 and 230mph. A MEGACAR is of it's own class above hyper cars. The very first megacar was the Koenigsegg One:1 whereas per horsepower equaled a kilogram giving it superb maneuverability and power off rip.

the 'Mega' part of megacar refers to 1 million+ watt output (1341HP) not just hypercars with over 1000 HP and of which the car you stated as the original 'hypercar' had over 1000hp anyway

I mean because though it had the hypercar acceleration of 0-60 in 2.2 seconds, it’s topspeed is to less to be called a mega car since there are hyper cars like Porsche 918 with almost similar acceleration times but most hyper cars much faster than it and the Tesla roadster has an acceleration of 1.9 seconds and a topspeed of about 250 mph which is dominating in both cases but yet considered a hypercar

I believe One:1 is the first megacar, there are several megacars came out after One:1, for example Jesko, Absolut, Chiron and its variants, and Tuatara.
