Jokic top 3 tbh. you've never really seen a center volley tap passes to players that much before so yeah.
@BasketballFundamentals
@BasketballFundamentals 6 жыл бұрын
Yes I tried to somehow get him in Top 3, but Rondo and CP3 have been doing it consistently for over a decade plus LeBron is, well, LeBron. But in the future Jokic could be #1, since I dont see any young players on his level when it comes to passing.

Cp3 is not a creative passer. He's a good, non-flashy, low turnover prone passer

There are clear differences in types of passes that are being conflated together and giving certain players a higher spot than they deserve. The pinnacle of these creative passes is that they create something where there was nothing. The players that do this most often are Rondo, Tedosic, Rubio, and Jokic. Whereas, flashy passes (those that are normally the right pass but made harder for style) are given equal weight despite being less creative because they are an option or part of the offense. You take those flashy plays and right plays and add volume because that is their role, of course, they will seem like better passers. When the reality is that the best passes are those done infrequently because the passes are so hard to see or there was no passing lane.

I love Paul and Rondo, but if I need someone to deliver any kind of pass, it has to be LeBron. He’s got their creativity, but has so much power and speed and can pass over the top, he’s the greatest cross court passer ever, his outlets are like a quarterback, and he can look off a defense to manipulate them, then throw a one handed pass from anywhere at any angle. He’s insane

Are you serious milos only 9th?
@BasketballFundamentals
@BasketballFundamentals 6 жыл бұрын
The only reason Milos is ranked that low is because he only has 1 season in the NBA. If we were looking at his whole career, he is Top 3 passers in the world.

Why is John Wall here but Manu is a honorable mention?
@BasketballFundamentals
@BasketballFundamentals 6 жыл бұрын
You are probably right, Manu should have made the top 10. John Wall got the nod because his stats are really impressive when it comes to passing.

We put Manu as an honorable mention for this video because it was his last season and we wanted to highlight the younger players. But earlier we made a Manu compilation of his best nutmeg assists, check it out - kzbin.info/www/bejne/rZfGppKfhc-Jo6s

Basketball Fundamentals why milos so low?
@BasketballFundamentals
@BasketballFundamentals 6 жыл бұрын
The only reason why we put Milos so low is because he only played one season in the NBA. Out of respect and longevity for NBA guys ahead of him, we had to put them in front of him. We love him at our channel, and we even made his top 10 passes video :) hope you check it out!

Seriously?CP3 on the top list? You got to be kidding me!😂Rondo is way much better passer than him and Lebron should be on top.Why?Look at those different kinds of pass.
@BasketballFundamentals
@BasketballFundamentals 4 жыл бұрын
Yea looking back I really regret putting CP at #1, he is a great non risk passer, but that takes away from his creativity. Also I only used CP's clips from the Rockets cause he played for them when I was making this video, so that doesnt show his full passing repertoire.

This list seems quite biased. LeBron more creative than Rubio, Theodosic? He only plays "unneccessarily fancy" passes most of the time, not creative at all. To me Rubio is by far the most creative guy due to his court visiion and awareness; noone of the others comes close and he's waaay down on your list.
@BasketballFundamentals
@BasketballFundamentals 6 жыл бұрын
Actually in trying to create an unbiased list I came up with this one. My top 3 are Jokic, Rondo and Teodosic, but people would go crazy if I leave out Lebron or CP3 since they have been doing for so long.
