Prayagraj or Allahabad is an important city in the state of Uttar Pradesh in India and it is equally important city for tourism in India also. In Prayagraj a tourist can visit the holy Triveni Sangam which is an important place of worship and religious importance. Also Allahabad is home to the much revered Allahabad High Court. This city also has Chandrasekhar Azad Park (Alfred Park / Company Bagh) where the brave freedom fighter Chandrasekhar Azad gave away his life for the nation. Allahabad also has some great historic monuments like Allahabad Fort, Khusro Bagh, Anand Bhavan, Jawahar Planetarium and All Saints Cathedral. If you like to know about history, culture and traditions then head straight to Allahabad Museum for its rich collection of artifacts. Also Minto Park is a nice place to revive yourself. You can also have a glimpse of modern Allahabad by visiting New Yamuna Bridge. If you have time you can also see places like Swaraj Bhawan, Akshayavat, Hanuman Mandir, Allahabad University and Kumbh Mela(held every 12 years). Allahabad also has some nice hotels and resorts to make your stay comfortable
