The only quirky thing about the US-Mexico timezone is that Mexico has different dates to start and to end Daylight Saving. In Mexico, Daylight Saving starts in the first week of April and ends in the last week of October.

19:23 Most people of working age who move to Panama get the Friendly Nation's visa. In Panama you can own a company by you cannot work in the company unless you have a work visa. The Friendly Nation's visa does not come with a work permit. You need to apply for it separately. Also most people don't apply for citizenship because there's no need. Your cédula is used for everything you normally need a passport for except travel outside the country. I've gone through the process.

Panama and Paraguay doesn't allow dual citizenship, unless you're from Spain. Philippines requires physical presence to pay the fees anually to renew the visa.... virtually the same requirements for the SIRV, and supposedly the new FIV doesn't require annual fees, bit a $75k bank deposit that probably has no ROI and stays captive as long as you hold the visa.

all you need is a visa, get a passport, buy a ticket, in the airport silvio petirossi they will put a tourist visa on your passport, once here you apply for residency, if you speak english you can work as a remote freelancer, good living here.
