Here's my ATL Guide: Here's my ATL Guide: When you get here, get you some Hattie Marie's, some Annie Laura's, Mary Macs, The Real Milk and Honey, or Roc South, get some Food Terminal, go to Rosa's Pizza before 4, get some Bahel Ethiopian, get you some Ike's cafe, get breakfast at Highland Bakery or Bantam and Biddy, or Gutbusters if you on the go, Cafe Intermezzo is worth a visit and you should get a wrap from Tassilis Raw Reality. Go to Morellis for ice cream, Insomnia for cookies, Sublime for doughnuts. For clubs go to Edgewood Avenue where K Michelle and 2 Chainz got they spots and pick your choice. Also there's Revery, OurBarAtl, Lacura and Code. For strip clubs if you like acrobatics and tricks go to Magic City, if you just like thick women go to Blue Flame, Blaze or Pin Ups. If you like women of all different sizes and types, go to Babe's. If you want a turnt up club, where it's a party and a strip club in one go to Peaches. Exert necessary caution and awareness at all these establishments. After the club if you hungry go to Waffle House, R. Thomas, Slutty Vegan, Edgewood Pizza or Pho 24 *on Buford highway* For fun go to the Ponce City Rooftop, walk the beltline via Ponce City market, check out what concerts are being played in the city, skate at Cascade (I like Wednesdays), go walk Little 5 Points, go to World of Coca Cola, Civil Rights museum and MLK museum, visit SCAD to see art, if it's Sunday do Bonfire ATL, Trap Museum, Jeju spa (24 hours) go to Apache Cafe for open mic night. If you happen to be here during the school year and Tri Cities high school is doing a musical, go see it! Black magnet arts program and they kill anything they touch. For bougie shopping stick to Buckhead, Lenox I guess, Phipps plaza. If you regular try Atlantic Station, Little 5 Points, Camp Creek, Tanger Outlets (ATL shopping scene is mostly designer, not very good). For Wholesale Costume jewelry and hair stuff, try Buford Highway towards White Windmill Bakery. Most stores require a business license but some will sell to anyone, so get your wholesale fix here. Outside stuff maybe Stone Mountain Park, Botanical gardens.....idk just don't go to lake Lanier under any circumstance. Oh, and drive to the corner of the Gateway center and bless one of them folks with a ten dollar bill or something, pay your dues.

Just for clarification, there is a difference between the Fernbank Science Center and the Fernbank Museum. The Fernbank Science Center is free admission and houses the actual Apollo 6 capsule and an incredible planetarium that does require tickets. The Fernbank Museum, on the other hand, is not free and showcases dinosaurs and many of the images from this video. Both are worth the visit and showcase the importance of science in the Atlanta Community.

Smaller venues like The historical Fox theatre, the Tabernacle and Atlanta Civic Center for concerts, Broadway musicals, plays and comedy acts. Atlanta symphony hall right across from the high museum of arts, major league and college ballgames, college football hall of fame, center of puppetry arts, Martin Luther King Jr. national historic park and museum, Atlanta movie studio tours, rafting down the Chattahoochee river, the Cyclorama and Civil War museum, Jimmy Carter Presidential Library down the road from Fernbank museum and planaterium. Camping at Lake Altoona (which is the cleanest lake in Ga), Lake Lanier and the Lake Lanier water park and beach (a short drive from Atlanta), high end shopping and some of the finest fine dining restaurants in the state. Here are some Atlanta scams tourists should be aware of: 1) Lie, Cry, Run to Daddy, Damsel in Distress, and Hold My Baby. 1) "Lie, Cry, Run to Daddy" goes like this: you're in a coffee shop or a restaurant when some hick starts dissing you about your clothes, accent, skin color, manners, etc. He pretends to be talking to his woman or his mate, but he's talking loud enough to annoy you. You get up, go over, have words, and punch the punk. Before you know it, you're in jail and then in court. You get jail time, a fine, and sued by the hayseed you punched. In jail, you get extorted. 2) "Damsel in Distress" works like this: You pull into a convenience for a bottle of wine & some cigarettes. It's night time & some pretty, well dressed, young woman comes up to you and gives you a sob story. Her boyfriend dumped here her after he slapped her around & she just needs a ride home. You agree to help her out. When you open the door to let her out of your car, you get jumped, beaten, robbed, jacked & she disappears. 3) "Hold My Baby": Just don't do it. You'll get framed for touching the kid inappropriately. Atlanta is a nice city, but I'd advise you to contact the local "Bunko Squad" before you visit. It could be that there's some newly emerging con that's designed to fleece tourists of their hard earned cash.
