I started playing this game today and it is SO addicting! I pulled my favorite Pokémon 2 times in 1 pack, I was so happy! One of the cards had a galaxy background and the other is a gold background, if you guys wanna know, my favorite Pokémon is mewtwo! 👍

Hello there Dani, how are you? Thank you so much for the great tips on TCG Pocket. I have played Pokemon Go for 8 years, but dont know how to play TCG so this is perfect for me to learn. A few days ago I got the message that I was gifted a membership with you here in KZbin, that is amazing! Love what you do Dani and watching your streams. I must admit I have not colelcted as many Pokemon cards, I bought some last year when Obsidian Flames came out and have them. Got a gold card with Charizard. Now I can collect Pokemon cards digitally which is much easier for me to do, because of little storage space in my apartment. Hoping to see more videos/streams with you and TCG Pocket/Pokemon cards. They have to show the rates in Japan mobile apps. Japan has very strict gambling laws and Gacha games like this are considered a type of gambling. Useful for overseas players of games though! :D

That’s totally up to you! I personally would just use them as you get them because it gets you new cards to help with decks, plus you get experience from opening packs which could help you level up faster

When you said I need all the kanto pokemon to unlock that mew, Do I need to open mew packs for kanto pokemon? Sorry if that’s a dumb question im a noob.

The Kanto Pokémon are just the original 151 Pokémon! All three packs have kanto Pokémon but certain cards will only be found in one out of the three pack arts (you can see the full list under the Offering Rates for each pack). You need to find 150 of them because Mew is the 151st 😄

When you go into the deck builder there's an option to change the accessories - tap on a specific deck you have to edit it, then tap on the area that says accessories and you'll be able to change the sleeves, coin, and playmat!

Like others have said explore the rest of the menus and you’ll find a ton of ways to open many more after doing all the tutorials and daily missions, add every friend you get the option to and click all the thank/like buttons you see, reciprocate tickets with each other and get more wonder picks, if you have a payment method start the free trial and then cancel immediately… by doing everything I could I ended up with over 300 cards being level 14 and not spending any money (cancelled trial) after just 2 days… if you are still super early in the game and have only opened 3 -5 packs if you’re unhappy with your starter cards why not re-roll your account before you get super invested in your collection, just erase your save data in settings and keep pulling cards until your first few are amazing, wish I thought of that before I got so far (if 2 days is far lol) sorry for the long post, hope someone gets something useful from it 😊
