There are few belts that look good around anyone's waist, but the IWGP Heavyweight Championship is the exception to that rule. It didn't matter who won it, it looked amazing. Okada, Tanahashia, Styles, Omega, Jay White, even Evil. Wasn't a great champ but at least he had the best version of the belt.

My favorite belt thing is something dragon gate does. On the Open the Dream gate there is a door that sits your name plate when you hold it. Whenever someone challenges you they have a key to either open the door if they win or the champion adds it to the belt as trophies of their accomplishments. That idea is so cool that i keep asking for anyone to steal it

Yeah agreed I love both those belts Cause when someone like CIMA in his last reign held it, it looked like not only a grand title to hold But served as both ultimate bragging rights AND made the chase to who would unseat him more grand, cause he ended it with 15 keys which I believe is STILL the record even over a decade later

Underrated one for me is the original Open the Dream Gate belt (Main Dragon Gate belt). Looks awesome, and has the gimmick of having the champ's name in the middle and the holder for the dream keys signifying the defences the champ had made

I love all the belts offered, but I'd love to shout out the NWA "Ten Pounds of Gold" as a significant omission from these lists. Big Gold was mentioned as a belt that feels "historic" as well as prestigious, and I would say that the TPoG offers the same, with an even longer lineage to draw from! I wouldn't say it's #1 or anything, but the Ten Pounds of Gold definitely deserves its flowers!

NWA Worlds title has so many things going: very classic design, sort of reminiscing the early days of wrestling, it has different places around the world as the side plates, it feels like the oldest, most prestigious belt in the industry. I know NWA's history in recent 20 years or so had been tumultuous, to say the least, but god, when I see someone carrying that belt, I see Flair, I see Dusty, damn I see Nick Aldis because he looked awesome with this belt. Never aging design, but I cannot see it ever be the title design for a bigger company, like WWE, mainly because it doesnt look like a toy you can sell replicas of around.

I like the belts listed here, but I have a feeling I’m a bit older of a wrestling fan compared to Luke, Sullivan, and Pete. I personally am partial to the AWA World Championship (commonly referred to as the inmate belt, the one that Stan Hansen ran over and returned to Verne Gagne with the mud tracks still on it.) the dual plated silver and gold, the wrestling medallions, the gold leafing, and the jewels make this belt just awesome in my opinion. It’s just too bad that I’m talking about a belt design that hasn’t been used in almost 40 years now.

Love this! I'm a huge belt mark and partial to WWE for sure. My top 5 are: 1. Big Gold (Love the WWE version made by Joe Marshall aka J-Mar even more than the original NWA/WCW made by Crumrine) 2. Winged Eagle (All gold and dual plated versions, both are just beautiful, made by Reggie Parks) 3. Big Eagle (Preferably the WWF Scratch logo, there was a blue block logo version that many collectors love but I prefer the one that debuted at Survivor Series '98, all made by J-Mar) 4. Undisputed (WWE version 3 used by Lesnar, Angle, Eddie, JBL, also made by J-Mar) 5. Classic IC (made by Reggie Parks)

The IC title is the greatest design ever. There are so many titles that take inspiration from it. The aew tag titles, ECW tag titles among others are clearly inspired by the classic IC title.

My absolute favorite set of belts was the TNA titles post NWA affiliation. The world title was a mix of big gold and winged eagle. The x division title had so much personality and stood out. The tag titles were just perfect. While the Knockouts title was a bit plan, the white strap was awesome. Hell even the legends title was super nice.
