I remember when Miro signed with AEW people saying he would be used so much better because everyone had it in their minds that Tony had all of these long term booking visions. Miro may well see himself a a big star and it wouldn't surprise me if Tony made him think that that is what he would be at the time but then he kept getting new action figures to play with and Miro is stuck at the bottom of the box under the one legged Adam Cole figure and Keith Lee. He has some how been booked worse that in WWE and no one thought that was possible after he kept getting knocked back the more Rusev Day got over.

One could think that Punk asked for Cabana to no longer be part of the promotion (since he was never being “fired” he just might not have gotten a new contract), but in reality, given the circumstances, any sane person would not keep the two in the same promotion. There’s too much legal issues there and potential for something even worse than anything we got. So the question was, does he keep Punk, the dude who helped get their viewership to 1,000,000 fairly regularly, their top merch seller, and biggest name , or does he keep the guy who hadn’t been used on tv in any capacity for over a year before Punk even came into AEW? Seems like a no brainer to me, but apparently some people in the back lacked any brains…
