Great video! Nothing against altered as it is beautiful and thematic. But with the cost of living nowadays - trading card games just don't feel afforable and feel like a waste of money with how often theyre canceled. Especially when an LCG will give you everything you need for way less of a price. Cascadia is a ton of fun, but my table group said it was visually rough to look at. Dominent Species is so aggressive - I feel you about not revealing your hand.

Good points. I wonder if Altered's integration with BoardGameArena will be seen as a way to offset that. It will be interesting to see if that has an impact, and if so, how much. -Chaz

Played Newton solo recently and after I got through the complexity of the rules it was a really solid puzzle that I’ll definitely be putting back on the table.

Journey of the Emperor is a fun board covering game. You need to have at least 2 journeys and each player puts down 8 cards total. You cover up your scoring patterns when you put down a card so you have to make sure you don't cover up a high scoring pattern for a smaller scoring pattern
