If you look up how the Nintendo Switch kits work, they are actually super interesting. There are infrared sensors in the controllers. You can even use the sensors to create your own programs and creations. I've seen a homemade guitar one and this one where there was a ball going between two switch screens and the travel time between them was accurate. Fun fact: mechanical gumball machines (like the one in this video) work by having a lever that will catch the end of the coin holder, the only way for it not to catch is if you have a quarter in it which will smooth out the holder. The turning mechanism then opens a hatch which drops the candy, pretty cool stuff!

Alright, so here’s an interesting story. Don’t read if you don’t want to. Okay, so once I made a cardboard slide at my neighbors house and it was amazing! We named it the CardBoard Toboggan and Toboggan means a sled and we went down in a sled, a closed up box with a helmet and blankets, small box that we sat in and went down, and a pillow which failed really badly. And we also added a jump rope tied to the railing so just in case something goes wrong you can grab onto the jump rope to save yourself from falling. ( I know, that was a little bit stupid.) We also moved the slide a little bit left so there would be some steps left to get back up and go down again. I was never the test subject because I was freaking out. Then at my house we put my neighbors brother in a box with a hundred blankets and pillows and shoved him down the stairs. he loved it.
