Of the half dozen or so "10 cards 1 kit" videos I have watched, this kit was my favorite. Cards 6 and 9 were tops for me. I love silver foil paper and vellum. I haven't watched the kit unboxing video, but my goodness you did have a lot left over! Thanks for sharing your cards with us.

Love your cards, didn't know love from Lizi sold to US customers. Will definitely be shopping from her site. Just not sure of the shipping costs, I already seem to spend so much on shipping unless it's amazon prime.

Shipping costs nowadays are wacky! Lizi's kit to have it shipped here is not bad. If you get her kit she will include anything you purchase from the store in the kit which helps with shipping.

Does embossing powder have a shelf life?? Beautifully done. It goes without saying that Liz did an AMAZING job on her kit!!

Embossing powder can have a shelf life. I keep most of my powder in their original little pots, but for powders that I use a lot of ( white, clear, and sparkle ) I keep them in small sandwich sized containers, and I keep a silica gel pack (from those electronics we purchase...you can find them in the battery compartment). The silica gel does a great job of keeping my powders dry!

Thanks for the info. All the embossing powder I have is shy of a year old, so I was not familiar if they do eventually go bad.

what size cards are you making? And I saw a question about embossing powder having a shelf life... I have some that is over 10 years old and it works just fine. I know clear sometimes yellows but I'm not sure how long that takes...

I buy the card and envelope packs at Hobby Lobby. The bigger one is 6 1/2 x 5 and the smaller cards are 5 1/2 x 2

I bought that huge roll from Simon Says Stamp. It is called Big Momma foam tape and I hate it. If you don't mind it taking forever to get the backing off the foam tape, it's a great price, but I won't purchase it again. It has caused me a lot of unneeded frustration, lol. I started using it a lot to use it up. I will only buy 3M from now on.

Thanks, Patricia! The big roll is called Big Momma Foam Tape. I purchased it from Simon Says Stamp because I thought it was a good price for the amount. However, I will never purchase it again because the backing is a complete pain to remove! Once I finish off this roll I will only purchase 3M (or Scotch?? one of those name brands).

I like that Recollections embossing powder. I have a couple of the glittery ones myself and they work great and look really shimmery on Christmas cards! I have an older Simon Says Stamp card kit that I'm inspired to drag out because of this video. I think I can do a lot of the same cards. Are these card kits available in the US? I couldn't find any info about shipping if they are. Thanks again for sharing!! =) Also subscribed!

Btw, another easy fix for that dark reindeer that you embossed blue would be a piece of vellum over him. That might have mellowed out the blue just how you wanted. Also, maybe could have sponged some white chalk ink over him? He's on white paper anyway, right? LOL Oh you could have re-embossed him too. The good thing about papercrafting is there is always a fix or cover up! =)

I have trouble removing the backing off that Big Momma foam tape. If you aren't bothered by that I think it is a good deal.. Personally I don't think I will purchase it again for that reason. Just FYI! Yes the kits are shipped from Lizi in the UK and she does ship to the US. I think the shipping is reasonable coming from overseas. Brenda H Hi Brenda, I offer 2 types of shipping, tracked for £13.50 and non-tracked for £9.20. to the US and Canada. In Dollars it varies slightly depending on the exchange rate on the day :)

Hi Christina, I got that foam tape from Simon Says Stamp. It's called Big Momma foam tape. The backing is a pain to get off, so if you don't care about that I think it is a good deal (reason why I purchased it). After that one is up though I'm sticking to 3M.
