Just a little side thing about the surgery station is that if you have a vampire Sim treat pets in the machine, they can extract plasma from the cats and dogs they are treating. Evil vampire vet, anyone?

my household always have a pet(s) . they are so cute and adorable and make house feels like home. I think I just notice that if you give your sick pet a wellness treat, then it can be cured without visiting the vet. I really have the same feeling for robot-vacuum LOL ! they are so easy to break and somehow it's easier to have manual vacuum

The robot vacuum, in my opinion, is a MUST if you own both Cats & Dogs and the Bust the Dust kit, because it is your best friend for maintaining a perfectly dust-free house. You'll just need one on every floor of your home, because unlike their real life counterparts, they know better than to fall down the stairs to their demise.

I love that you are always teaching us something great about the sims! I find that having a pet bed is a must! If I don't I find that my pets pass out and get sick more often! So I always keep beds in many places in my sims home. I also send my pets to bed at night by asking them to lay down. When I do this a few times in a row the pet learns that is where they sleep and will sleep there on their own. Thank you again for another fantastic video! Cya later!

Looking back, this is one of the many packs that could have been fleshed out more. Ngl, I wish there was more useful treats, like one that increases the pet training or something. Why in the world would we want to make pets stinky. 🙄 Thanks for another great overview!

If you have jungle adventure you can put the pee bush on yr lot and yr cat will rummage around in it and leave piles of feathers and help you build the owl statue faster. I ended up with 3 or 4 statues!

Here i thought i knew everything about being a vet and the cats and dogs pack, but i had no idea about the collecting feathers, etc. With the household i have they have dogs and the dogs get the feathers, honestly not sure how, i just find them. One gameplay suggestion and one tip i have enjoyed with this pack. If you make your home traits a dog/cat/both hangout, then strays come to your home, you can then feed them and give them a place to sleep. It quickly gets over run, but its cute anyway. I then add them to my family and either adopt them out to friends and family or keep them. Sometimes the strays come in sick, and if you have a bunch of wellness treats (bought at a vending machine at a vet) it makes them instantly better. I use this with any family with pets. So skipping the vet trip all together. Just my finds so far. Thanks again! looking forward to more vids from you!!

I feel like more people would use the stalls from Cats and Dogs and Seasons if you didn't have to hire a vendor using your sim's own money to be able to use them. Placing a stall somewhere should mean the game automatically assigns a vendor to the stall. I know it's a small complaint, but my sim shouldn't have to pay 100 simoleons to hire a vendor just to then buy a pet toy or a coffee.

Does the big collector bird still crash the game? Timing the use of the robot cleaner is an art in it self, in your Vet Clinic.

One thing I learned also is that’s you can go to the vet and sign your pet for a check up and it will say there heathy but you can get a preventative shot and if you get that they never get sick if you have your on long lifespan you have to do it twice own once they age up from puppy and then one before they age up into elders it is really cool trick if you don’t want to deal with sick pets it also works with elder pets

I just found out about the vet vending machine and the wellness snacks and I'm so mad. I literally moved a family to Brindleton because their animals kept getting sick and it kick them out of their year-long vacation every time and I'd have to start again. It ruined that game play and I could have simply loaded them up with those snacks. The feather thing is pretty awesome. I'll have to try it.
