I liked the character Ranvijay Balveer Singh played by Ranveer Kapoor in the movie Animal, because in that character I saw the positive concern of a son for his family. These days, films which are not generally seen in Bollywood have shown the culture of Punjab in a correct manner and have not made fun of Punjabi characters. I am eagerly waiting for Sri Sandeep Reddy Banga's next film.

I'd say RK portrayed Ranvijay to the T. Every single emotion is portrayed as clear as water. From his childhood scenes to his descend into madness, the psychology is clear. He never received the love and attention he wanted and he constantly had to lie to himself that his family loves and cares about him. That lie is what makes him psychotic. Love is an illusion that is close to him yet he cannot touch or feel it. Like, the painting of love is painted on his eyeballs; where ever he sees, he sees love but cannot touch or feel. He runs around, trying to catch it but couldn't. The "unalivings" were just hurdles in his pursuit for love. He thinks s*x is love. Hence, the consistency of s*x scenes in the movie. The signs: The outcome of Arjan Velli fight scene will be clear to those who love to watch the movies deeply and interestingly. The injuries resulting unability to feel anything is the sign that he has descended to the levels, from where it will be impossible to climb out of. The last straw of his sanity broke, which was s*x that made him feel loved. The ending and credit scene signified that he can never be healed. His life is nothing but a tragedy that kills love wherever he goes. "Agar aapko kuch hogya na... Duniya jala dunga papa" is what is shown in the ending. His father was his world and leukemia diagnosis report burned his world and him.
