I'm stuck between layton and layton exclusif. I have been sampling both of them for the last week and love both but one day I lean towards to original to get as my next fragrance, and other times I lean to the exclusif. Should I just forget the idea of buying one of those 2 and get just Detour Noir Exclusif. I'm curious on what people think? Please let me know!

i would say it depends. Obviously detour noir is cheaper. But if you love the quality of the real PDM, you should def go for it. Great fragrances to get into niche.

I have a large decant of pdm, amber oud exclusif and Detour noir for my Layton options and detour exclusif as the only Layton exclusif that I have smelled (never smelled the original) so from that point of view. DN Exclusif still has an animalic, metallic kind of open compared to the original options I have. Exclusif leans more towards night, date, special event kind of scent to me. It's not something I'm wearing to work (at least not during the warmer months). The original is more applicable to more occasions. I really enjoy both scents and you can definitely feel the original DNA in exclusif. This is all coming from a person who loves citrus freshies (bravanzo vestige, turathi Blue, North stag 3&4 etc.) and am just getting back into more if the richer deeper scent profiles. So take from that what you will.

I was waiting for a review of Arabian Tonka's dupe, and then - 2 whole minutes were allocated to the atomizer and 15 seconds to the scent itself. By the way, shghaf oud azraq has never been relatively cheap, from the moment it was launched its price was about $50 and it is worth noting that it is 75 ml.
