Woody Oud is a great representation of Oud wood. I went to saks and put on the original and the put woody oud on the other arm and it was very similar, and at its price point, a much better buy, unless you just have the money to spend, but why, since as you said, the prices are going up.

I picked up a roll on called Avenue by Al Rehab and its very similar to Hacivat. The citrus notes are the longest lasting that I've found in anything so far. People think it's an Aventus clone but there's no pineapple in it. Well worth checking out.

You should check out the The Supremacy line of Afnan! I like the Aventus (supremacy not only intense) and Oud for Greatness (supremacy in oud) clones very much!

Afnan's Supremacy In Oud is a mind blowing version of Oud for Greatness at a mad cheap price compared to the original. Honestly I think it's better than the original. Also Al Haramain Detour Noir has the sparkling fruity vibe of Layton perfected, and only really lacks slightly in terms of florals in the mid and vanilla in the base, but an insanely close one. What's amazing is sometimes the presentation on these cheapies are fantastic. Supremacy in Oud has fantastic box and bottle, and my Lattafa Eternal Oud bottle does not look out of place in my collection with bottles many times it's price. I've got Fragrance World's Mocha Wood coming soon as my next cheapy to try. I got Oud 24 Hours Majestic Gold recently which is just like Stronger With You Leather, but I think it's a little more muddy than the original. I've tried the regular Oud 24 Hours and honestly I think it's nicer than my genuine Black Orchid so I'll probably pick that up and sell my bottle of Black Orchid.

I always go for the OG, but when I have it I buy the Clone to see how close they get, my favorite Oud for Glory, smells almost identical to Oud for Greatness. I haven't tried the Oud Wood Clone from Alhambra, I don't have Oud Wood I like it but it's not my favorite from Tom Ford, the ones I've tried from Alhambra are the clones for LV Ombre Nomade and Noveau Monde in the opening Ombre Nomade is closer to the OG than Noveau Monde, but in the dry down, they're so damn close, it's scary 😬Need to buy one bottle of Toscano Leather, at those prices you can't go wrong. I have Woody Oud, and really like it. It's extremely close to the Tom Ford. If anything I would say it falls somewhere in the middle of Thameen Carved Oud and the TF.

Great list Chris. Buyer beware of Raghba Wood Intense. I found it totally unwearable. If you like mass appeasing fragrance it can be a real challenge. Oud 24 hours is banger.

One of my most favorite fragrance in my large collection is a cheap one. Alexandria Fragrances Hafez 1984. It is one of their best. It's similar to Red Tobacco from Mancera but different enough to be considered an original.

I've got the other Oud Wood from Lattafa. The Carved Oud clone, Maison Alhambra Zafiro Crafted Oud. It's pretty spot on to TF Oud Wood. I've already highly recommended it to people. $23 for an TF Oud Wood clone is amazing! The packaging is amazing on that one too. Striking blue bottle. The Oudy Wood Alhambra I have not smelled. I just know Crafted Oud is a must have if you're a TF Oud Wood lover.

I believe I purchased the OG ck one based on your recommendation, and it immediately became my favorite cheapie. Even today it smells so good for the price. I've since tried shock and ck All, and I think ck all is my favorite, but all 3 are amazing for the price point. Calvin Klein is the real deal

Woody Oud is really good! I tried Oud Wood and honestly am impressed by the clone! Performance is average; 5-6 hrs. I find. Nice list!

Oud 24 hours "Majestic Gold" is a superb clone of SWY Leather. Bought 100mls today for £20.oo, and I'm well pleased with it. Great performance, superb smell, and extremely close to the SWY Leather in quality. Excellent buy!!

i was lucky to pick up two bottles of alhambra woody oud. i can tell you it's very similar to the original, projection and longevity is amazing. i sprayed 3 sprays and my whole room was filled with the scent, i had to go wash off some of it before going out. when you smell it from the bottle you can tell they used a bit of some artificial fecal smelling note that makes the fake oud smell very realistic

I've tried a couple from Alhambra's Tom Ford dupes: Tobacco Touch is VERY close to Tobacco Vanille, the opening is slightly synthetic smelling but it quickly turns into a beautiful blend of smoky sweetness. Love it. Bright Peach is Bitter Peach but more ripe, very, VERY fruity and leans a bit too feminine for my taste. Two sprays of it will easily fill a room. Porto Neroli is essentially Neroli Portofino, but on my skin it doesn't seem to project very well, becoming a skin scent within 2-ish hours. Receiving Toscano Leather tonight!

I didn't even know stonking was a word! You learn something everyday. 😂 Never easy to do a cheapie for life list since they're being discontinued so rapidly and the new ones are usually an improvement over the lot. But I'm quite confident that one of my current favourites - Crafted Oud from Alhambra (yes the very same) - you'd be a fan of Chris. I did purchase a backup of Woody Oud but I think Carved Oud outdoes it by a hair. No question that Bogart (Signature not Pour Homme), Azzaro Pour Homme and Lalique's Pour Homme edp would be one the list for me.

I buy the OG when possible, but have many clones as well. Lattafa is an incredible company that puts out great stuff. I have Woody Oud and it is a banger. Not as polished as the OG but in no way a bad scent. Longevity is a tad wanting but at 27 dollars here in the states, it’s a hell of a buy. Love ya Chris !! After spending way wayyyy..too much money(about 50 grand or so..lols) which is stupid bonkers, on the high-end niche, artisanal, luxury, rare vintages, and into designer brands in fragrances for the past 12 years, I've started to acquire top clones, inspired by scents because you can't beat the prices on these, since hardly any of these smell generic or cheap. These brands I can tell are using pretty good ingredients comparable to high-designer brands, and the presentation & packaging quality are hard to beat also the price point is bonkers! I just got a bottle of Club de Nuit Intense Woman today. My bottle of Noir de Noir is almost empty and I really don’t want to spend £284 on a 100ml bottle of a fragrance that’s been weakened so much that it’s gone in 2 hours (sometimes less)! CDNIW is great. It’s just not as smooth and the rose note is more potent than Noir de Noir, which is more chocolatey (with the patchouli) and has a sweeter, smoother rose note. It’s still great and my Mum thinks it’s incredibly close. I can tell the difference easily but it’s close enough for me not to care. At £25 for 105ml, it’s a great deal too.

I've heard some similar words about Raghba (the simple one), but the fragrance featured here is Raghba Wood Intense, which is very close to a "By The Fireplace" smell. A bit smokier and a bit denser though. Definitely wearable, just had it on yesterday 🥰 It pumped for hours, too!

@Hoar Frost (Maison Alhambra Amber and Leather) and (Rare Carbon) smell very similar to Tom Ford Ombre Leather. Between 75-85%. I have all three. Tom Ford Ombre Leather Parfum is a beast frangrance. Kinda pricey but great stuff. Maison Alhambra and Rare Carbon are great alternatives at a cheap price!! 👍👌💯

Do you think they smell similar to the original or newer one? In any regard thank you for your input

Little trick. Explorer + 2% Ambroxan added to boost. Takes off the lemon pledge note, becomes an absolute monster. Welcome in advance fellas

@@Avarage.Joe-David No, I tend to use a 30ml atomiser bottle, I add 25ml Explorer and 5ml of 10% Ambroxan in DPG. Give them a very good mix, let them sit for a few days, mixing occasionally. Explorer already uses Ambroxan, so you won't overly change the DNA, it just hypes the fragrance up a lot. I've tried it with several, but Explorer (I feel) works best of the ones I've tested. Hope this helps mate
