Crown Zenith as a whole has some of the best artworks we've seen ever in the Pokemon TCG, it's really surprising how most of the cards in that set are pretty cheap

That is a minor contributing factor yes but the real reason everything is relatively inexpensive is because of the pull rates. Since just about everything is relatively easy to pull just about everything is relatively inexpensive. For a card to be expensive it must be difficult to pull or difficult to aquire. Any card that is easy to pull will never be scarce enough to become valuable. That is the reason most CZ cards are inexpensive. The amount of CZ printed is still way less than any core set and as a result the total print run is not the main reason why most cards in the set are cheap it's because you get a pull in every pack if not two.

The pull rates are so high that makes them cheap I’ve bought most of them for like 2 bucks I’m kinda glad they are cheap it made it easier to buy

I agreed. First released new set of products are bombarded w amazing pulls. I remembered my friend pull Giratina Gold CZ after 4 packs of opening. But once they released the reprint, somehow the pull rate was ... so so. he sold the card the day after and we're lucky to get a buyer. good video, good memories

I've kinda been on a Pokemon loss streak recently, so seeing this video helps a lot. I'm currently still debating buying a 151 ETB for $70 CAD ($52 USD) and either just holding onto it or testing my luck. Either way, I think you bring up a good point with the singles for 151, investing in some secondary chase cards now while they're cheap could pay off in the long run possibly.

sorry im yapping, but i feel like these recent sets have really gone to show that people care more for the art than the pokemon itself which i LOVE! the artistic direction and freedom from these recent sets really lead to some stunning cards (not to say that old cards arent stunning)- say what you will about pull rates and marketing, but the cards are gorgeous!! lesser loved pokemon getting their limelight with beautiful art is, IMO, the best part of these recent sets- hopefully the prices will reflect!

Not true. I'm a true pokemon fan. I love the cards and collecting them however for the amount you pay for them if they had no value I would have very little interest in spending my hard earned dollars on them. That doesn't mean I'm not a true Pokemon fan. How many of you would spend hundreds and thousands of dollars on Pokemon cards if they all had no value?
