OMG. It took me a couple of starts, but I got it. I tried 12 rows and ran out of yarn. So, 10 works best with the Hobby Lobby Skeins IMO. Thank you so much. Can't wait to use on my newborn girl shoot tomorrow.

This is a great video! Thank you! Where did you find the brown colored yarn? Was this also hobby lobby! I do not see this color on the website or in stores.

It was from Hobby Lobby, but it was 2 or 3 years ago. I’m not sure if they still have it. ♥️

I believe they were like 18 inches x 20 inches or something like that. It’s in the video somewhere. Probably at the beginning or the end.

Does the wool need to be felted before construction?
@Jennifer_nicole6 жыл бұрын
Hi Brittany! I felted a batch, and it didn’t make any difference in the yarn. I think it’s because this is mainly a synthetic blend.
@daleklauss25016 жыл бұрын
What was the finished size of your blanket? How many balls would it take to make one big enough for full size bed?
@Jennifer_nicole6 жыл бұрын
Dale Klauss hey! These come in at about 17in x 21in or any variation thereof if you wanted it longer rather than wider. I made a bed runner for a full sized bed and I used 9 skeins. Now I made it way too wide accidentally (not thinking of how the sides would pull down), so for full size I would start at 9 skeins and maybe have to go up from there. Try 30 stitches across.

Hello! I was wondering if these would be soft and durable enough to use as a baby blanket? I have searched and searched for chenille this large or tube yarn cheap enough to make a baby blankst but no luck!
@Jennifer_nicole4 жыл бұрын
Hey! No I wouldn’t use these as a baby blanket, but just as a prop or for show. I got my chunky chenille yarn from hobby lobby, but Walmart and target have it now too. I have a video using it as a pillow cover I believe. It’s just as thick as this yarn.

Amazing video, I don’t have much to invest now, started making few of my own stuffs by watching videos. Thank you very much. I am getting it tomorrow 😁, is one yarn bundle good for one full blanket for baby ? Please update if you see this comment
@Jennifer_nicole4 жыл бұрын
1 ball makes a small blanket for baby. Mainly to be used as a photo prop ❤️
@sadhanaphotography15294 жыл бұрын
Jennifer Nicole in the video I thought you used 2 balls, thank you I’ll try mine tomorrow and definitely tag you in my future picture when used
@Jennifer_nicole4 жыл бұрын
Sadhana Photography this blanket you only need 1. But I do have other videos featuring more than 1 and how to combine the yarn. My favorite that I’ve done is the herringbone stitch. So pretty!!!

How many of these yarn rolls would I need to make a full decorative blanket?
@Jennifer_nicole4 жыл бұрын
I made a normal throw and I used 7 skeins I believe. You will want to measure how big you want it and calculate.
@bubutina834 жыл бұрын
hi thank you for sharing. would you please tell how much weight did you use for this? I'm going to buy the yarn on line and it's sold by weight. thanks
@Jennifer_nicole4 жыл бұрын
Yarn weight is 7, skein weight is 10 oz, 26 yards. I used 1 skein from hobby lobby, and You can actually clock the link in the description to get taken to that yarn for more info ❤️
@jadechong71425 жыл бұрын

Is there any other brand other than yarn bee, couldn’t find it in my place, confused which one to buy
@Jennifer_nicole4 жыл бұрын
You can get whatever brand you want, but I recommended yarn bee from Hobby Lobby in the video because it is the cheapest. You can also order online.
@sadhanaphotography15294 жыл бұрын
Jennifer Nicole I meant the fluff, couldn’t find that fluff in other, I am in micheals I am spinning 😂
@Jennifer_nicole4 жыл бұрын
@@sadhanaphotography1529 Michael's big yarn is made by Loops and Threads. I'm not sure which fluff you mean. Is it from a different video? I do use fluff but I make it out of yarn as well.
@esleahalura43856 жыл бұрын
Did you only use one skein here? I bought the showstopper yarn like you said, but when trying to make loops this big it’s not enough.
@Jennifer_nicole6 жыл бұрын
Esleah Alura yes! I like to make my loops about 2-2.5 inches after the foundation chain. If your loops are bigger you may want to go down a row or only make 9 in the chain.
