I like a more substantial format like this, still breezy but a fuller package than 1-min vids. I learned some things from this video today and, naturally, validated existing pet peeves of mine. Keep it up!

Ten minutes and twenty seconds. That’s like ten point two weeks of one minute coding videos. And all for the same low, low cost of free-ninety-nine! What did we do to deserve such a gift on this fine morning? Another great video dude!

Haha sometimes you just gotta give it up! Thanks, brother Jay.

It's been really hard learning new skills such as HTML,CSS and SASS. But , same at time learning coding It's way coolest than thought it'll be. Plus, when comes to Javascript these last couple days I've learning the importance of the fundaments of language and your video emphasize that really well. Besides, all videos that you've been posting are helping me out to step up to the plate and hopefully I'll master Javascript , but until there it's gonna be of heck of a work.

High quality video man! I had a question... I have 6 months of free time before I start Uni with a few years of high school level coding courses, and I was wondering what would you recommend to someone who wants to gain experience in a professional environment to deepen their understanding of frameworks and practical code with no degree and no experience ?
@ColorCode-io4 жыл бұрын
Yes, definitely. There is no shortcut other than build, build, build. KZbin is great, books are great, even uni is great. But nothing teaches you more than just picking a technology and using it to see how it works. There are no wrong technologies to pick (ok there might be a couple), but whatever you decide to learn just do it. 6 months is a long time and if you work hard at it you will gain a lot of experience.

What would you advise to someone who's 27 and stopped coding 2 years ago?
@ColorCode-io4 жыл бұрын
You can easily pick it back up again and start working. The industry changes a lot but the fundamentals are all the same. Depending on how much you knew two years ago, it may not be a huge lift to pick it back up. Focus on the fundamentals and the basics and you can get back in. Tell me more about your situation and I can try and help.
