I love that you mentioned cropping. Unfortunately, too many photographers in my circle think cropping is taboo even in the slightest sense. I do crop but within reason. I do believe no photographer should shun it altogether.

I heard a lot of photographers saying what you said, that cropping is wrong and I really get the way they think. But for me it's just not the way I enjoy my photos so the least I'm doing is straightening the image and then maybe cropping, it depends on the subjects and the mood that I want :) thank you for this comment!

Good concise advice. Best one for me is break the photography norms and think out of the box. As you say photography is art so use the creativity inside us and not be tied to what is expected.

@@iGefen The last time I owned a camera was before the digital age. All I had to worry about was aperture, shutter speed and film ISO. Now with this new digital camera I have it is a little overwhelming with all the menus and submenus allowing me to modify things I do t even know what they are. 😀

@@Blakefan2520 I can relate to what you said, it can be overwhelming (that is one of the reason I chose the Leica camera because of its simplicity) . Those extra things aren't really the important part in my opinion..

And for the Q3: turn off ibis at shutter-speeds 1/250s and higher. It can, strangely enough, cause motion blur.. This took my a while to discover.
