The thieves are clued up to what they are looking at..some of the muggings are random, like when they smash and grab someone in an expensive car or cruise around knightsbridge, kensington etc looking for a mark but a lot of them they’ve scoped out a victim for a day or so then work out a time they’ll be able to strike when the victims vulnerable, like what happened to that comedian on the school run..these gangs are making good money doing it

That's when I started to watch your videos and I thought like "my goodness there are really people out there who can afford to spend thousands and thousands of dollars on something like a watch while I can't afford my next bottle of vodka and something to smoke. That's when I knew I have to get a good payed job in order to live life to the fullest and buy myself something like this. I got to the doc and he gave me medicine so I can regulate my sleep rhythm again. It mostly killed of my emotions and empathy for others. But I was able to get up again, I broke ties with most of my friends cause they were bad influence for me, dragged me down telling me I can't reach anything. Anyway I'm 24 now and if it weren't for you, I wouldnt be alive right now. I'm not joking or anything, the drugs and the alcohol wouldve allready killed me. I got so far that I allready thinking about buying a house for myself. I'm really grateful and I wish you only the best my man. I recently decided I was going to get a watch to help me stay off my phone for long periods of time and I decided I want something with an alarm to remind me when to take my medications. I decided to not go too crazy I remember back in the 90s I liked Timex's indiglo watches, so went on Amazon to look for a basic digital Timex indiglo watch and I found a Timex Ironman 30 on sale for $35 Canadian down from 60 so I went through that. The Timex Ironman is a perfect design for me because it fits with my 1990s style wardrobe it's going to reliably be able to tell the time it wasn't too expensive I was able to get it in Black it has a few alarms it has the option to have two time zones and it has the indiglo feature I was dead set on getting. Needless to say I'm pretty excited about it getting here in a couple of days. Was happy to get a watch I liked that happened to be 42% off when I decided to go watch shopping. If down the line I decide to get another digital watch for myself I'm going to go with a 1980s/1990s style Casio with the backlight similar to the indiglo feature that Timex has and for the time being I'm perfectly content with the Timex I bought for myself. I can appreciate higher-end watches without necessarily needing one myself I personally like my late 20th century style digital sports watches but that's just my personal preference.

In all my 58 years of poor man's watch romance I have never tried on a watch and struggled with its heft or wearability (andI I own a 250 gram Panny Submersible, 18.5mm high). Maybe it's because I am 6'5" and 110kgs, but I doubt it. A ten year old wouldn't struggle to wear a gold Rolex Subbie.A suggestion for a, useful, new video for you to make: Top 20 most legible analogue watches. My number 1 is the Patek 5711, black dial. I can look at mine and read the time in a nanosecond. What do you say, big man?

I hope Casio sponsors Nico. He's really bringing the brand closer to the luxury watch audience.

When you put the 1926 Tudor up there, I thought for sure the Aquaterra 2503.50 would be in this category.

Hi Nico, What watch is it you swap your apple watch for going 8:47 in to the video?

Was thinking of buying a EBEL mens wave watch ? Just wondering is it a good make?

Seiko SPB207. Can't recommend this one enough, same dimensions as a Submariner but wears so much more comfortable, case finishing is more intricate and the color of the dial is just bonkers. And it's quite affordable at around 1000$!
