Good choice! I would recommend a week if you have the time to visit attractions outside the city, otherwise, at least 4 days within the city itself.

Hey, so glad that the videos have been helpful. These were two separate trips. First trip was from Singapore to Guangzhou where we took the high speed train to Zhangjiajie. We spend around 4 days there. Then we take the train back to Guangzhou, where we spend another 4 days. The second trip was to Chongqing where we spend around 5 days there.

Hi! Oh, there are many night cruises that run along the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers. Physically you can go to Chaotianmen or better still, go online to purchase the tickets. Try trip.com or Klook
