Fully aware my friends of the actual numbers.... point being with the addition of numbers from covid plus maybe car accidents and other things like such the cops killed number still doesn't come anywhere close to how many citizens are actually killed by police. So the point really is to show the stretch in the cops logic. I should have made that part more clear in the video.

Exactly, the way they press citizens into not asserting their rights regarding searches, ID'g, etc, etc, by saying, "If you've done nothing wrong, why won't you ID"... The answer should be, "Well Officer the Constitution says I don't have to, so why are you pressing me to give up my Rights... Media outlets siding with police unions routinely exaggerate the danger police officers face on duty. However statistics show that policing does not even crack the top 20 of most dangerous jobs in America. Policing is almost 10 times safer than being a logging worker or fisherman. Almost 4 times safer than being a pilot. Two and a half times safer than being a garbage collector. Twice as safe as farming. Safer even than being a small engine mechanic. In fact the greatest threat to life that most law enforcement officers will ever face comes from increased consumption of donuts. Repeated studies have found that American police officers have one of the poorest cardiovascular disease (CVD) health profiles of any occupation. Sources: U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, fatal injury rates; National Library of Medicine In the LEO fatalities chart that Mr. Israel showed at 7:11, the 2020 and 2021 totals seem at first glance to support what this officer said. But this is not the case. The recent data on number of law enforcement fatalities is misleading. For 2020 and 2021, the totals of 373 and 472 deaths include the many American law enforcement officers who died from contracting Covid-19 on the job. In 2020 this was 254 officers, and in 2021 this was a staggering 301 officers. So to compare the numbers to previous years correctly these numbers need to be subtracted out to get 119 LEO deaths in 2020 and 171 in 2021. This clearly proves that there is no recent upward trend. That’s one of the biggest issues why some cops get so crazy about people filming them. It’s got nothing to do with the 1st amendment, nothing to do with officer safety. It’s all about individual officers or groups of officer that simply don’t like that they are being recorded and/or don’t “appreciate” it when they are recorded. It’s not about law and not about public or personal safety. It’s all about that officers feelings. His feelings are hurt, his ego is bruised for the sole reason of “I don’t like it.” I’m sure they feel like they are being watched just so they can be caught doing something wrong or illegal. The sooner the cops realize that they are law enforcement, not feelings enforcement, the better off they’ll be.
@stevedavies1261
@stevedavies1261 Жыл бұрын
Good luck with that... Cops are all about (because they are taught this) "You are in charge, citizens do what we say, when we say or else...Fck their rights, we are the law"... There’s a reason they are referred to as tyrants, most think they are above everyone else, they do not believe they are servants of the public, they believe they are the masters. The events in Uvalde clearly show this cop’s BS of putting their life on the line is sickening. They have been put on a pedestal, hailed as heroes, and this has inflated their egos to the point that they believe there should be statues of them erected and viewed with awe, they have lost sight of the fact they are servants.

I will actually disagree and say that law enforcement put their lives on the line all the time. Their own and others, just in a dumb way. They will speed 110 down the highway with no lights to make it to a spot where they can sit and ticket you for 70. The number one cause of death in police officers is motor vehicle accidents. And the number one cause of fatal motor vehicle accidents is speeding. Am I supposed to believe it's a coincidence that the ONLY people I see that are trying to challenge the sound barrier for absolutely no reason are cops, and that the cops just happen to die mostly in car accidents. It's no surprise that the thing that costs the most cops their lives is themselves.

How often do they go to the range? How often do they go to the law library? Two very different numbers. The time they spend practicing how to make holes in humans, vs how much time they spend learning the laws we pay them to enforce. How many times they use the word “arrest” vs how many times they ask people if they can really improve their life by actually helping? How often they park normally vs how many times they park like a douche? How often they treat people with respect vs how often they get butthurt by people not kissing their boots?

The cop was saying sure you're free to go, but he continued leaning his arm against the top of the car. Had the auditor actually started to pull away with his arm there, the cop would've claimed the auditor tried to harm him and arrest him for assault against an officer with a deadly weapon. It was only once the auditor made it perfectly clear he wasn't moving until the cop left did the cop finally give up and go back to his vehicle.

I don’t understand why these folks are so nice to these “officers”? The cop had ZERO reason to contact this guy. The trespass thing, the observer should have shot back “did the owner ask you to make contact? Do you even know who the owner is?” As soon as the cop said “no”, just dismiss him. No sense in humoring someone like that. The cop is fishing, and the only thing to come from talking, is bad. If the cop is that fearful, Burger King is usually hiring.

So, given that he does not "appreciate" being recorded in the course of his duties, what is he afraid of being seen and recorded doing? What does he have to hide? Does he have pictures of nude children on his phone? Is he doing drug deals? Is he violating someone's rights? What is it that he wants to keep hidden?

"I'm putting my life on the line," says the cop, and he's right! In the old days, all he had to worry about was choking to death on a donut with his complimentary morning coffee! Now he has to worry about actually being held accountable for his actions by random people holding cellular phones and GoPros! Furthermore, cellular phone technology has surpassed the initial fascism of police officers noticing that they were being recorded! In the old days, they'd simply smash the device, done! Then the sim card was invented. Then they'd smash the device and take the sim card, done! Nowadays the people recording have a live cellular satellite link to cloud storage! If they catch a cop breaking the law and he illegally arrests them, seizes the phone, deletes the footage, takes the sim card, smashes the device, smashes the person........not done! Once the illegally arrested person is released from jail, he can walk into any cell phone store, buy the same phone, recover the footage from the cloud, contact a prominent KZbinr who will let the cat totally out the bag (viral in hours), contact the local TV News station, contact a local civil rights attorney and BAM! What happens? The same dirty cop is canned like tuna and is the recipient of a massive civil rights lawsuit with the jurisprudential weight of a falling safe!!!

That guy was across the street and more than reasonable distance, he wasn't anywhere near the scene and was listening to the radio calls. The cop had absolutely zero reason to even approach the guy but did just that to grieve about his job to someone while trying to have some sort of ficticious power so he can make it a bigger deal. Cops like that are prime examples on why you shouldn't give someone who gets offended easily a gun, tazer, pepper spray, handcuffs and a badge.

I'd like know more details concerning the big 2020-2021 statistics shown. Did the increase represent police 'killed' or police 'deaths?' A large number of police died of COVID during that period, with many brazenly refusing to adhere to mask requirements or any other preventative measures.
@MrSCG1

Here in Chicago during those years quite a few committed suicide. Is that also counted as police death's even though it was self inflicted?
@gangrel138
@gangrel138 Жыл бұрын
Absolutely. The official number of US COVID deaths in that 2 year period was upwards of a million people. I know of at least one locally in Lakeland FL because Sheriff Grady Judd held a big press conference urging everyone to get vaccinated but stopped just short of making it mandatory for his officers. But if course here in Florida the official death toll was way underreported to make DeathSantis look better. If you look at the increase in things like Pneumonia which is a common comorbid cause of death with COVID it spiked during 2020-2021 in deaths that were not deemed to be COVID related.

I just looked up top 10 most dangerous jobs in America and law enforcement was not on that list. I looked up top 25 most dangerous jobs in America and law enforcement was 22. It is more dangerous to be a garbage collection man or a crossing guard or a landscaper. I did landscaping for almost 20 years and now I'm a welder both jobs are more dangerous according to those lists then police officers and I have never once in my life ask somebody do you know how dangerous my job is or told anyone how dangerous my job is in fact I don't even consider either one of those jobs very dangerous even though they are both considered more dangerous than being a cop according to those lists that I Googled. So if my job is more dangerous than being a cop and I don't feel my job is dangerous then why do cops feel their job is so dangerous? I think it's because they're told their job is dangerous and they feel like that gives them extra leeway or maybe they're just attention Seekers. I also can't stand my police fire and EMS ask for discounts at restaurants. I have never once asked for a military discount. So sick of people trying to get extra recognition. I'm also disabled and I've never once tried to use that for any type of advantage either. I don't put that my business website or marketing materials owned by a disabled vet even though I have a paralyzed arm because I even think that's BS when people do that. People need to stop trying to get special treatment
