I guess an id is a special field created by django itself for mapping it's record, we don't need to define that field explicitly, django maps every data based on something called primary key of it's own and that is id only, we don't have access to it, by default that column after adding the first record is being created and after adding successive records it's been auto incremented. Even if we delete certain records, because of it's unique constraint it never uses an id it has already assigned an goes through its counter which is by default increment by 1 every time.

So far I am learning a lot from these videos. One question. In the update functionality when we update a image. Database gets update with new image address and starts showing the new image. but the old image still stays in that folder. How to ensure that old image gets delete. This will reduce number of unused image files. Kindly help.
