Wish I had my old bible studies stuff handy so I could give a clear reference, but in translations for pre-king james versions of the bible, Number 6 was quite different. Remember that in 1611 the bible was basically rewritten and simplified for public consumption, reducing the text to about 1/5th its original size and altering many sections to make it supposedly easier for the common man to understand. The original translations of "Suffer not a witch to live." was closer to "Never allow a user of EVIL magic to live.". There are multiple instances where it is implied that using magic for good deeds is okay, but a person who presumably uses 'Black' magic must be killed without hesitation.

For the four horsemen of the apocalypse, Death wasn't followed by the actual Greek God Hades. Death took the bodies but the souls went to Hades, meaning Hell. Hades is another name for Hell (or the underworld in Greek mythology). So in a line during the passage where Death is actually introduced states "I looked, and behold, an ashen horse; and the one who sat on it had the name Death, and Hades was following with him." By "Hades" it does NOT mean the actual Greek God. It's talking about Hell. "Hades" actually has multiple meanings such as 1. Hell 2. A resting place for the dead 3. Home of the dead 4. The Greek God

We have to remember that men wrote the bible and that it has been translated, edited and rewritten by men and the church over the centuries. There was no understanding of science, and a fear of things they did not understand.
